It's not just the technical brilliance.
There is something else that places this guitarist in the highest echelons of the guitar world, something almost indefinable.
Others have played the same arrangements perfectly but Pedro Javier executes them and elevates them to another dimension.
I think it is his "phrasing" and his ability to apply to each note, series of notes, chords and scales a range of power, emphasis and subtlety which is delivered flawlessly yet effortlessly.
This level of mastery is difficult to define in words, though.
The ears hear it, the eyes see it but it's almost mystical.
