- Seth shares a song of lament birthed out of Psalm 77 and walking through the process of both his family's failed adoption and his friend's ongoing struggle in a successful adoption.

The pain that goest deepest is drawn from those closest, as our children hurt us we’ve hurt our parents as they hurt their parents, all the way back to the garden. But one Son in a different garden honored the Father for all of us.

I struggle with depression and anxiety. When I am down I listen to this to cry away my despair then it shows me verse 10 & 11 and I remember all the gifts the lord has given me since I chose to follow Him 16 years ago. Thank you for this gift from God.

I struggle with depression and anxiety as well. I thank the Lord for His blessings because, though He said He would not remove these afflictions, He has used them to help others. I am very Thankful that this pain is not in vain. God bless and keep you sir.

I found this song years ago after my mom was diagnosed with cancer and cried. My daughter has now been diagnosed with cancer at 19 and the tears will not stop. Thank you for this song.
This song has touched me very much too. My grandparents both have very deadly diseases and I have also been estranged from my brother for about a year now, so I've really been feeling this psalm. Reminds me very much of my life verses Lamentations 3:21-24.
You and your daughter are in my prayers for sure. I'm 19 and can't imagine what she must be feeling. Time stamps hurt, especially when you have your whole life ahead or if you're the one losing somebody. Praying for a miracle that takes the cancer completely away.❤
This is an amazing version of Psalm 77. Captures the angst and pain of the psalmist. I pray that you have come through this challenging episode of your life. Glory be to God in all circumstances.

There should be more such lamentation songs
There had been a transition in my life a few years back, and as I go to Hong Kong, I feel that I have been drifting further and further away from the faith. I use to be so much more devout in my living, but as time passes, I feel that my relationship with God is drifting further and further away. A part of me thought, if my time on Earth is done, I might not even get to see the Lord. I actively search and try to see where is God, but I just cant find Him. This song made me cry, as it resonate so much with me. Thank you
Hey, I know it can be discouraging when you’re trying to find the Lord and it seems like we can’t find Him. But I promise you that in due time you’ll find Him. Keep searching and keep seeking for Him and He’ll meet you where you’re at. It might take longer than you want it too but if possible, surround yourself with brothers and sisters in Christ. That’s one of the ways I’ve enjoyed the Lord’s love and presence towards me -through the body His Church.❤. I pray you’re encouraged

Thank you GOD for this man and his art. i lost my mother five months ago i thoght that was the most painful experience in my life, then i got infected wiht covid two weeks of hellish sypmtoms and through at all God has been there in my doubts my pains ,(emotional and physical), and some how i know that He will be there with me for the remaining of the journey in this world and forever for sake of His goodness.

Amen! I can't say enough about song... I stumbled upon it a few years ago in my pain of relationships lost. Seth, whoever you are, the Holy Spirit anointed you to write and sing this song. I don't think anyone could have presented it more beautifully. I have cried many healing tears listening to you sing this song created from God's LIVING Word..and making it my own prayer to God. I share it with others as well (including tonight, with a woman I met, who's only son ran away from home 2 weeks ago). Thank you, brother!!

I, too, have experienced loss through estrangement. Now, two people I'm very close to have very dangerous diseases. Our whole family has been really stressed about it, but all we can do is hang on and trust God.

We may all have the same song or our prayers or verses, but we all never had the same struggles and frustrations in life.
But we ALL have struggles and frustration in this earthly realm is what none of us are exempt from as long we live. I would add, our songs, prayers and verses may be different because we have different perspectives. The most important thing to remember and to cling to is that GOD is GOD and He loves us, cares about us, and is ALWAYS there with us to help us through when we find ourselves in dark places, in affliction and suffering. We have to trust Him and His plan. We have to grab hold to His hand and lean on Him and let Him lead and guide us through because He’s the Light and He’s our Salvation. When we follow Him, He leads us out of dark places and rescues us in times of trouble. Many blessings to you!🙏🏽
