We just created loans from ourselves to the company, and we agreed to only pay ourselves interest each quarter for # years. Set up loans in chart of accounts and now the amount of the loan is added to my checkbook balance - this is making my check book balance incorrect and showing that I have way more money in my checking account. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this so my checkbook balance is correct?
