If you want forgiveness of God you can’t just intentionally just keep on sinning. God will not wink at your sin. All sin is sin and separates us from God. God loves the world but being holy He cannot tolerate sin of which homosexuality is just one. Sin goes against heaven. It would corrupt heaven if allowed. Repentance is turning away from it, from doing whatever you want that is sinful and turning to God’s will (what He wants).

The Joshua Church LGBTQ community are the quintessential example of Southern Hospitality. These people accepted him, took the guy in, and broke bread with him and shared their time. The difference is in the gay church everyone feels accepted, happy and loved by one another, but in the hateful church people feel angry and hateful towards the people around them. I live in New Orleans and see these guys every single year. It's not just Decadence though it's Mardi Gras, too. Anything that they can perceive as being "indulgence" or "too much fun" is protested by these types of people.

From an anthropological perspective this is absolutely fascinating!
Jamali pretty much sums it up at the end with people like Ruben just want to get a rise out of people and really aren't trying to help them. Saying "you're going to hell" and calling people racial slurs because of how they are BORN does nothing but make Ruben and his little group of friends feel better about themselves. It's good that Ruben lives in a country where the first and 2nd amendments exists. But just remember Ruben and all other haters out there, the LBGTQ community has access to these amendments also and they have just as much right to assemble peacefully and protect themselves as much as you do.
