Thank you so much for coming to Phed Mark, really appreciate it. And loved the appearance from Gary. Have a safe trip to Kanchanaburi!
Thanks Mark! Keep up the amazing work on UA-cam and at the restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️
Ahh so Mark Wiens can you share to everybody how you ask food vendors what ingredients are in some of their dishes and then make a video and pretending you no what flavours you can taste hmmm 🤥
Alex and I lived and taught English in Kanchanaburi back in 2014/2015. We actually had a Honda Dream and every weekend we went for a road trip around the province. Wish we had had a UA-cam channel back then. Thanks for bringing us back there 💛
I agree Paddy, Kanchanaburi is probably the most beautiful part of Thailand. Both times I've visited have been particularly poignant for me as I was a former Royal Engineer. I found it quite an emotional experience seeing plaques in the war cemetery, especially those of my fellow 'Sappers' and their ages...so, so young. On the second trip we travelled the railway to the end of the line and beyond ti Hellfire Pass...what struck me was how incredibly hot it was and I struggle to understand how they managed to work when they were emaciated, starved and disease ridden. They have my ultimate respect...we will remember them 😞 However, it is a beautiful province and I look forward to your videos in this enchanting province 😁👍
yeah I agree and I will visit that place in the next video, I tried to to go today actually but the rain is so bad right now
@@PaddyDoyle. My father worked on the railway. (He was captured in Singapore). He had an intense dislike of the rain ever since.... Imagine toiling day after day during the raining season 😓
The name of the river is Khwae Yai. Khwae means tributary. Yai means big or great. So Khwae Yai means Great Tributary. There is also a sister river called Khwae Noi, which means Little Tributary. Both rivers are the main tributaries of Mae Klong River. They meet in Kanchanaburi. From there, the Mae Klong flows south through Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram before reaching the Gulf of Thailand.
The intro to being back on the road gave me goosebumps, great to see you back on dreamy Paddy I've been to Kanchanaburi a few times to lay a poppy in the cemeteries 😔
Everything looks so delicious at Mark Weins place. Good to see Gary. Glad to see you back on the road Paddy. Paddy Doyle you have an album, you have been a busy boy.
1:35 This is freaking hilarious ! You guys are a comedy team I'm telling you. Gary is like the perfect cherry on top of Paddy's awesome cakes (videos) 😎
So nice to hear the birds and see the pretty flowers at the hotel you stayed at. Nice people are golden and it’s great you recognize and support them by staying there and sharing. Love it and your dedication to bringing the best out of each area you visit the best you can in the moment. UA-cam tips included! 😅
Paddy I love the Kim Jon Un inspired hair cut :) 🤣
Just kidding by the way, love the channel & content, keep it up 👍🏼
Great to see you and dreamy back on the road.
Kanchanaburi is still one of my favourites on mainland Thailand, really interesting place to visit 🛵😎
Hiya Paddy, I love the banter between you and Gary. The food looked delicious. Always enjoyable content. Epidemic sounds are always great tunes. And you always pick the perfect music. Nice deal. How steep on the journey up. Lol. Nice place to stay. Nice story, about how you are staying there. Great video. Thank you for sharing. Safe travels. Have a lovely weekend.

Great video man! I tried his restaurant out yesterday for the first and absolutely loved it!
Hahah good choice ordering the level 3 at Phed Mark! Me and my brother was there last week and went with the level 5. It was so intense!
Good luck on the balance of your adventure. Can’t wait to experience it with you
Feels great hearing your intro music again 😍😍😍 Didn’t know I missed it this much 🙈
Good to see you & Dreamy refreshed and ready to travel once again. More projects and adventures. The temples there are incredible. You and your friend are funny. Never knew about the Brits changing names so they could pronounce them lol. Never knew the real Bridge on the River Kwai was in Thailand or that the movie was filmed in Sri Lanka. I googled it. Always learning something new from you. Thank you. 🤗
I was wondering when you were going to hit Mark Wien's restaurant!
Good to see you back out there, stretching your legs and your mind, once again. Your channel is my lifeline back to Thailand!
Loved watching you & Gary hanging out together ❤️ looking forward to more dreamy adventures
Would love to see raw and uncut full eating footage of level 5 🌶🌶🌶 😅
Glad you are on the roads again Paddy, looking fwd to your coming videos.
Love the unsolicited plug! Being kind and helpful always pays in the long run.
We (my gf and our 17 year old daughter) were there in 2017 and really enjoyed it. We took the train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi and stayed there for some nights. Visiting the Erawan waterfalls and went for 2 days to an elephant sanctuary (I know , not your thing). After that we took that same train to the end station (Nam Tok ?) and visited the famous museum. Would love to go back there. That train ride is fabulous btw !
Paddy, I just love how you digest the info and simplify it to us, or rather, filter it, paddify it with your positive-cheerful-ironic personality. You left your job as a teacher but you stayed a teacher ❤️
Great to see you back on the Road Paddy
We live close to the River Kwai. We are very pleased to welcome you
We are so glad that you visit our country and love Thailand.
Feeling happy to see you back on the road again.
I got pretty excited for you once I heard the theme song!!! All the best on the road!! Cheers!
Wow! How cool is this journey! Thank you for bringing me along with you! : )
So good to see you back on the road Paddy, glad you enjoyed your time in Bangkok, safe travels 😊
Kanchanaburi is one of my favourite province in Thailand. I love the Safari Park, Erawan Falls, the Srinagarinda Dam plus the history of it was really fascinating. You have the war stories from different ages playing out there... the one related to the bridge plus the many wars before that between Thailand and Myanmar (many museums and memorial parks for this enroute to Erawan but I did not have the chance to visit yet). Everytime I came here, I always stay inside the Erawan Falls park. I love camping there. The Thai people camping culture always fascinates me. I will watch the sunrise at the Srinagarinda Dam and visit the Time Memorial Park. Then I will start trekking up the 7 waterfalls early before the mob starts coming in and enjoy swimming there. Then out for lunch outside Erawan and visit the Safari Park in the afternoon because it will be baking hot there in the morning. I love the safari park so much. You can feed giraffes, zebras and even tigers and lions there. Enjoy your trip Paddy!! Looking forward to your awesome videos!! Can't wait for the borders to be open again so that I can drive there from Malaysia. Maybe next trip I will stay at one of those houses on the river raft floating hotel. Been wanting to do that for a while. Safe travels Paddy!!!
Thank you for your work ! Enjoy and be safe ...
Thanks to your personal album on epidemic sound (to which I'm a subscriber), I've found one music that I've used in my latest video!
Thanks, Paddy!!!
You should go to the most western part of Kanchanaburi, Sangkhlaburi district, near the border of Myanmar. It's beautiful there but quite far as well.
Cheers Paddy I've been waiting for the Kanchanaburi vids, 👍
That food was hot according to your reactions, coming to Thailand this year. thanks for the tips mate.
1:50 Funny 😂
Great video. I like that you always paid suitable respect to places you visit. 🙏

Hi Mate, great to see you back on the road....( Actually, your BKK vlogs oso great la)...
Bravo's...
Fantastic Hotel. We stayed there last month on our way to Chang Mai. Lovely place to stay and the breakfast on the river was so peaceful.
My dad was at Kanchabury Railway during its construction WWII period.

Your “Paddy Score” of your music is rad! 🎶 🍻

Paddy you should have gone to the cemetery for the fallen it's stunning and pristine and some of the messages on tomestones really brings tears to your eyes multi nation cemetery..
You must go to Pilok Village. and Thipsukontharam Temple , Sapan Mon or Mon bridge , and Thong Pha Phum city in Kanchaburi province
You go up Doi Chang suek, if the weather is better, you can see the sea of Myanmar, there is a waterfall of Jok Kradin. Somsak Mine old tin mine of Aunt Glenn's husband Australians who have been here all their lives. and a small village on the border with Myanmar, the weather is cool all year round.
Not gonna lie...seeing you on the road with Dreamy just felt...RIGHT! Glad to see it. Also, is that the keychain we got you for Christmas we just saw? 😱.
Go to the war cementry...amazing place...theres also a massive dam complex on the way to the waterfall...saw my 1st ever wild tiger swimming across the reservoir..😉
Yeah! On the road again!!
You are an inspiration 👏
Love your videos bro , especially Bangkok videos. 🥂
Before you leave bkk, we need to appreciate how fresh your looking 👌🏻
I always wanted to go to Kanchanaburi, one of my ancestors have a memorial grave there as he passed as a prisoner of war. The Thais made a beautiful memorial plaque for him.
Paddy,
Love the album 😍
So much for not doing ads :P
Stayed in that hotel on 2017 & 2019. We stay there again next visit.
Any body else disappointed he didn't try at least one mouthful of the level 5?..would have made great footage I think! 😉
Been to kanchanaburi once.. always wanting to go back... pretty place
Have a safe trip, you drive well 🤟💞🛵🛵🛵
The dueling youtubers!!!
If you're ever in need of a travel partner and Thijs & Lina aren't available I think Gary is your guy - you two definitely have a great rapport. Glad to see you back on the road 👍👍
The best Pad Krapao in my opinion is the minced beef with a yokey egg. It was a favorite of mine as a child and still the best for me because the beef aroma just cannot be replaced with any other meat. I hope you try it. How spicy should it be? Reasonable I think. It's hard to grade the best spice level but Krapao should always be spicy. Enjoy!!!
Safe travels Paddy ❤️🥰
While u in kanchanaburi, u should go to Pilok at thongpaphom.U have to drive 399 curves to get to E-Tong Village. On the way to E-tong stop byChong Khao Khat
I personally like both places Mark's restaurant and Kanchanaburi!
You both are lovely together. Love you both.
Challenge for you...a vlog without a temple please! :)
I saw you at Kanchanaburi yesterday.
Drive safe and have fun
Your travel in Thailand excites me! Do you have to take a driving test in order to get a driving license? Can travelers buy a motor bike and insurance in Thailand? Thanks!
I've been to the Tiger temple paddy and i shit myself lol walked on the far side and the drop off is crazy high , but wow what an amazing place it is ... loved it
Hi Paddy good travel nd nice video .Finally u decide to put sponsoring but it s ok not too boring nd if can help you …kisses
Will come back lovely haircut watching all the time live in Dublin Ireland
Loved Bangkok but hip hip hooray, here we go
I find UA-cam algorithms very interesting. For a week or so it will throw up several favourite UA-camrs such as yourself on my smart tv and then they disssapear for awhile to be replaced by others. Yes Mark Wiens has done very well. Even though it seems strange that millions of people want to watch a guy eating food. Good on him. UA-cam algorithms feed just threw up some guy I had never even heard of before (Luke Martin) doing exactly the same thing as Mark and he's got 1.3 million subscribers and 270 million views! He's only just arrived in Phuket and only done two videos and he's killing it already with views! I think I'll boil up some Phuket noodles and pour some Phuket soy sauce into it and see if I can get 174,000 views! (-: It won't happen as UA-cam decided for long ago that it doesn't like me. No matter what I post. Good on those doing very well. Congrats.
That was no random bloke coming up to you! That looked like Joel’s mate, Bank!
TOWIE The Only Way is Ekkamai, the battleground for UA-camrs where pride is at stake. He who dares wins! haha, truly entertained by the exchange between you & Gary. love that skit! Jack Whitehall who....?! 😁
music at the end of video sounds good, i like acoustic guitars and harmonica, fits perfectly to country view. usually youtubers has too much stupid techno.... Kanchanaburi is beautiful province, been there :)
It's called a funicular train. They have one in Penang Malaysia too at Penang Hill.
Paddy, quick suggestion for your next album, and lead in Willie Nelson's I'm on the road again
Great to see you back on dreamy .
That was a good bit of info about the Bridge and the mix up of words. I looked around at my wife at our digs here in BKK and asked her about the word "Kwai" . . . Yes, quite the insult if one happens to be a bull in the linguistic china shop. Anyway, Aoy says you are right on in your explanation and she is impressed with my new knowledge, thanks to you and your research. Cheers . . . dcb
I can’t believe we stayed at the same resort 🤪🤪yes, a lot of sad history and bravery there.
Happy you are on the road again. Love the sound of Thailand in the background the “for real” cuckoo bird I think.
The music when you got back on the road - yeah!! I couldn't help but grin, widely! Woo hoo!
Loved the little bit with Gary in the beginning and I am looking forward to what is to come with Next Level Adventures! I know you are going to dive in head first, deep, but be sure to take some time for YOU as well. 🥰
Cool haircut Paddy
Hi Paddy ,what month was it when you left Samui ? Thinking of going in November but the weather might change my mind . Not sure if it was before November you left cos the weather looks good in your vlogs .
Cheers
You're channel and videos are more enjoyable to watch than Gary's, keep up the good content.
I stayed at this resort during my visit to Kanchanaburi. It is a nice resort, very close to the bridge?
Paddy smile so cute and charming.I talk so true. He He ate pork basil rice so delicious.
Tune in on Sunday for much deeper look into the beautiful nature yet somber history of Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭✌🇹🇭
That would be great Paddy because im travelling next year and i wanna spend at least 2 day's there .
You should go too Thong pha Phum District the little market there is amazing and the river that runs through the town is breathtaking , stay at " Suan Ruen Rom " im got engaged there and it's a beautiful spot on the river .
