- In this video I recap Aljamain Sterling beating Henry Cejudo. I was very impressed with the fact that Aljamain won despite taking Cejudo's back in the grappling exchanges. I also talk about Belal Muhammad beating Gilbert Burns & some other fights on the UFC 288 Card.

That’s 4 main events in a row🔥 The Tracy PPV curse has officially lifted. Onto better things. Yes Belal beat Gilbert but some fans say they saw banana peels 🍌

You wanna have a list of fights that he predicted wrong in terms of who will win?💀
I mean even fights that he predicts right are 80% of the time never going the way he tought so💀
Damn Lucas was correct… Gilbert really had to slip on a banana peel to lose to belal.
😂
@@lucastracymma8764 Burns tried to do a takedown on a guy with a 95% defense rate. Terrible decision.
@@meteorfromspace so I guess Aljo was dumb for taking down Cejudo multiple times too right?
That was a perfectly timed shot by burns and he actually did get the takedown.
Freak injury occurred in the process maybe because fighting 3 times in 3 months is tough on your body?
@@KnowOne111they don't know man
@@KnowOne111 Glad you brung this up, Before the fight the narrative was that aljo has no chance at taking down an olympian but i heard no one talking about it after the fight
Lucas deflecting onto Henry because of the Belal fight😂
The way he phares it, I thought he was behind Belal all along lol
I mean he was fighting a one armed man basically. Although I guess he kind of caused it with the td defense
@@ben5154 not kind of he did
Belal going 5 rounds with a one armed opponent sounds about right
or burns getting dominated by a one legged belal sounds amazing
Old man Henry underestimated aljo
He guranteed won 2 out of 5 so aljo kept saying he’s gonna beat Henry up the biggest moments also went to Henry he just got out pointed
Not at all Cejudo fought when the level of competition was mid compared to modern day fighters. He was gifted a win against dj cause ufc wanted to get rid of him, he beat a corpse in TJ, he fought a Cruz so came from a long injury lay off. Henry is and has always been good but he isn’t the god of combat people make him out to be
@@scottymobley4854 1.. rd. Not 2. Aljo won all 4, and Henry got 5. Stop the bs
@James Sunderland yea 100% a disgrace to the sport at the very least Henry deserve to draw, same with ALEX maybe not is insane her as hype of a fight but both of ruined to legacies, and have ruined my love for the sport. I will never buy a pay-per-view again and haven’t since Volk lost.
I think that was a big part of it, three years off didn't help either.
Aljo head movement is lowkey underrated
It’s very good but he hardly ever protects his chin
@@lucastracymma8764 he rolls with everything. Very rarely gets caught clean. Funkmaster
@@lucastracymma8764 its because he rolls every punch thats why at the end he never seems to even have a scratch on him even tho he leaves his chin open, nobody can land on him since moraes did
Belal “remember the decision” Muhammad
Billlyboy
Funny how Colby fans say that yet fail to realize Colby is also a decision machine 😆
last 8 wins of following fighters:
Edwards 6 decisions
Covington 6 decisions
Usman 5 decisions
Muhammad 6 decisions
Burns 5 decisions
Thompson 5 decisions
not really unusal don't you think
only exceptions of the Top fighters in this divison are Chimaev and Rhakmonov.
@@stonecold316339 oh don’t worry I hate Colby almost equally lol
@@extendedrealityextendedrea5382 I just find it funny that this gets brought up.
Leon’s last knockout was against the former champ
Covington knocked out a former champ
Who did Belal knock out? Sean Brady, arguably the most overrated fighter I’ve ever seen in the UFC. And it wasn’t even a an actual drop to the mat KO
Aljamain is the best bantamweight to ever do it.
Clear win for Aljamain and Belal somehow still looked bad despite getting another win 😂
Bro is starting to go on a main event streak 🔥
I mean Burns couldn't use his left arm after that 1st TD I don't think we should destroy him for losing it was still pretty close even fighting with 1 arm.
Impressive that he was fighting with 1 arm but don't lie bud the fight wasn't even close.
@@Goatkuna236 cuz he was fighting with 1 arm

@@shades6768 Tf were you even tryna say?
Who else was shocked by Diego Lopes?!?
He looked great, good pace and slick in the scrambles, definitely could see his experience and poise
He’s a beast. Definitely deserves to be a top contender even now.
I've never seen someone almost win a fight so many times
I wasn’t, when u picked evloev to sub him i mentioned that he was a bjj black belt with 11 subs and you shrugged it off and said “against who though”, nobody bothered to watch any of his fights & said he was just a sacrificial lamb
For a debutant, who decently fought to the end and almost subbed such a highly touted prospect.... and almost subbed him a couple times... that was quite impressive, really. If Evloev had gone up against a higher ranked, more experienced guy who elite BJJ, he likely would have been subbed, if caught in those moves that the less skilled debutant Lopes was able to get him in... And, likewise, if Lopes had debuted against another newcomer, with less skills than Evloev, Lopes likely would have been very impressive, to say the least...
Aljo 1 3 4 clear. People arent giving aljo enough credit at all.
Did anyone else notice Burns thought it was round two in the break before round 4? He also was walking towards the wrong corner between rounds and someone in his team had to walk out and redirect him to his corner, maybe after round 4
I saw that but I think he just realized he was losing and was coping with it by looking more out of it than he really was
@@lucastfitness7299 I could see that, like a shock reaction. I didn’t think he was getting rocked that hard to the head, but who knows the combined effects of overtraining and consecutive fights
I think he likely felt flat from the start and just started to see his title shot slipping through his hands, and when he got injured he just started freaking out
He’s been too active. Hopefully he takes a few months off
@@codygatti8358 no, hes like 36. He cant take time off. He will sadly never get another title shot 😔
Aljo gained my respect in the 2nd Yan fight but he did do much better than I thought he would
Henry still looked good for someone coming back after such a long time and was the much smaller guy.
Henry was talking so much shit these past 3 years and during the build up, like half the roaster hates him lmao
Dude love how you gave belal and aljo their credit. Belal did cause that injury by stuffing the td and made it worse with the kicks.
Bro I’m so sad for burns
Remember the name
how are you on a streak 😭😭😭
He hot like 80 percent of the card wrong. Belal absolutely dominated Burns and Andrade got knocked tf out
for the main event
@Coen H That's not 80% brother
4 in a row Brah🔥 and anyone giving me shit ab getting other picks wrong, this was the flukiest card of the year, Parker porter getting a finish, Dober getting KO’d (even tho I picked Frevola), burns looking like a slow old man, etc
Diego Lopes didn't surprise me, I saw his highlights and knew he was good 💯
I'm completely puzzled why people are so high on Evloev. I understand, he's an undefeated prospect, both in 17 mma fights and in his 7 UFC fights. But Diego Lopes was a debutant at the UFC, and Lopes was NOT touted as a killer on the ground like other undefeated UFC prospects (Khamzat, Bo, Shavkat, Tatsuro Taira et al).
And Diego ALMOST subbed him 2-3 times in the mat. If he had fought someone, say, ranked a bit higher than he was and that someone had elite BJJ, Evloev would have been in real trouble.
As much as I was coping with the Burns fight while it was happening, I think Belal deserves all the credit. Coming in on short notice and looking that composed and powerful. The kicks were just wrecking Burns and his constant stance switches/feints looked great. Respect for not trying to force a finish and winning the smart way.
It was an easy money for Belal, Burns is only a threat if your take down defense sucks and you are over the hill.
I learned a few fights ago to not overlook Belal. This makes 9 straight wins. He def deserves a title shot despite what anyone thinks about his style.
Good picks, I will push back on featherweight being better than Lightweight hopefully we can have a good discussion on the next debate. Good shit!
Being an Aljo fan, I’m def hyped about last night! I couldn’t stop thinking that even with the loss, Henry looks pretty good for his situation and in my opinion wouldn’t be mad if he still moves up and faces Volk if he’s still champ. Would be a great fight imo
Aljo runs through O’Malley and I can’t wait to see it
Aljo has the most title defenses at bantamweight now
aljo and belal are as legit as it gets and deserve respect
Gotta give Aljo respect im starting to like him
He’s one of my favorite champions now.
@@lucastracymma8764 Same in the BEST division too
My fav thing to see was Henry avoiding any type of grappling after aljo almost got the body lock at the end of the 1st
Aljo is bigger and lengthier, it's really hard to out strike someone with such a reach advantage. Props to Henry I think at 125 pound Henry was insane, it will be hard to make that weight now tho. Aljo did win 💪 love the man's attitude and he is such a good fighter even with his awkward style.
Bro wtf am I listening to Belal couldn’t finish burns with 1 arm since the second round Burns could only throw kicks and right hands and still landed bigger shots then Belal🤡the arm he injured wasn’t from headkicks goofy a55🤣🤣
I saw aljo beat Yan in Jacksonville live. He's definitely had my respect since.
I bet on Lopes by submission at +1800 😭
Damn that must’ve been a crazy experience watching him almost get it 4 times lmao
Would love to see you debate MMA Guru. You two usually have the same take on most things. But he gave a strong stance on Henry winning rounds 3 and 5 convincingly.
I think that would also make great content for both of you two.
‼️
We agree
Henry should’ve had a tune up fight bro got humbled
You’d think sterling was coming into this fight with a three year lay off and 8 inch reach deficit watching this video 😭
I mean the fight was pretty close I had Sterling by DEC but I wasn't too confident but I think he will SUB O'Malley in the 1st or 2nd because if he can TD Cejudo of all people then I am sure he can do the same thing to O'Malley.
I have a weird feeling O’Malley will have something up his sleeve as an aljo fan

One of Aljo's best win and should put him in the convo of 135 greats now unironically
you extra fired up barley getting this one right after your horrible co main prediction lol
I think a rested two armed Burns 100% beats Belal. Not the same fighter who fought Chimaev and Masvidal. Burns still touched that chin 10+ times, but not with the same power. Burns started to fade mentally, yes. He realized he overdid with this 6 months mid fight. But another win should put him right back there
he might have to fight shavkat
Excuses belal had one leg
Burns looses to belal 8/10 times. Colby looses 9/10 times. Stop underrated belak
This was such a cursed card, Dober gets knocked out, Belal dominates Burns and then the judges do whatever the fuck that was in the main event
Completely agree on aljo, let’s give the man his respect 🫡
He looked so rusty I honestly thought he was trolling being that upright
Thank for putting respect on aljos name
Next video title: gilbert slipped on a banana peel
respect for admitting you were wrong about belal champ. Great vid as always. Cejudo still my goat tho 🥇🥇🥇
6:19 damn Lucas predicted it
This man Lucas says how cringe Henry is then proceeds to say "his head is way up his ass he can smell his fart" like that ain't cringe
You roasted me for saying Burns and Belhal are two of the most boring fighters in the ufc. They proved me right
Here we go…
Idc what the numbers say and idc what y’all gotta say henry did not lose that fight idc. Aljo round 1, Henry 2,Henry 3, aljo 4, Henry 5. Argue all you want and yes the stats say aljo outstruck Henry but Henry landed the more significant strikes and again idc what the numbers say.
Why Belal looked good? You said you wouldn't even consider the TJ fight for Aljo, and he finished the one armed man he faced.
thought it was 4-1 Sterling.
I wonder how long it will take for the dust to settle for people to finally put some respsct on Aljo's name 🤔
It was a close fight man... Aljo shocked me, but it was close. Aljo fucks Sean btw, but if his defense looks like it was against Sean he gets knocked the fuck out.
Burns literally fought worth a torn shoulder. He fought with one hand and still fought 5 rounds without being dominated
My prediction was too accurate lol i think a good Burns is still a harder test for Edwards but Belal has the Skill to survive and hang with Burns his wrestling equils the BJJ hopefully he gets that title shot before Colby.. burns was too confident definitely overtrained
I like that your analysis, I just think you are way to ego centered in always referring or going back to the fact that you were right, and when you are wrong, you do everything in your power to defend yourself without owning up to it.
How in any way did I not own up to being wrong about burns Belal?
I like Aljo but he didn’t win that very convincingly. Neither did Henry, it was a close fight. I’m not letting any bias affect what I saw but I will have to watch again
It's time to put some respect on Tracys name, bro is on a one right prediction streak 😤
Aljo, Earn My Respect. 👊🏽 All the in & outs movements. Kicks, lower body shots. Grappling. + Humble the CCC with a Big L.
Henry Cejudo, enjoy your humble pie 🥧🚼
Out of all the trash talking that Henry Cejudo & his team did to Aljo.
It must feel Great to Celebrate the Victory. Congratulations Aljo. 🎖️
Bro talked so much shit about Belal 🤣
10:05 just a few days ago you said burns by early KO. now he didn’t have a chance even if rested?
If Belal doesnt get the title shit before Colby they should do Colby vs Belal winner against Edwards
0:27 you switched up last min and picked Henry. Come on carrot top you got this win wrong 😂
You did not say a mfing fight night? Wtf😂
Did we watch the same fight? Aljo was on his knees diving for takedowns most of the fight
Cejudo v Sean wouldve been main event
Aljo v Sean is gonna be a co-main event, probably behind a womans title fight
It's wild there are people saying Henry won.
Thing about Gilbert he only has that right overhand in my opinion. Straight punches and jabs are a problem for Gilbert. And touch him up a few times he begins to break
Didn’t watch the fights but I haven’t seen one comment saying Belal was impressive.
Because he wasn’t impressive, he just outpointed a dude that hurt himself lol
@@thatoneguy5001 belal aka remember the decision was never impressive lmaoo
Burns tore his bicep on his first takedown attempt. Belal looked horrible to almost lose to a one armed opponent.
Brazilian
burns pulled out his arm in the first round, which i probably worse than slipping on a banana peel. and it was still a competitive fight.
burns made a mistake rushing into another fight so soon. they said they were gonna give colby the next title fight no matter what, so he could have waited a few months without missing his chance. he honestly probably could have just waited and got the next title shot after colby.
Loser talk
Yes but he’s still right there , he’s in Dana’s good graces , and Colby and Leon are stallers , ufc will give them their do but their going push them to fight or get out . Colby going fight one more big fight and he’s done . Leon their hoping Colby gets him out . Than we can get a champ that will fight twice a year . If you have mega numbers they’ll let you sit like Islam khabib khazmat even Izzy , Izzy type is all us fans and the ufc is what they want .
Still pissed that Gilbert injured his arm which made him lose
Yes but you have to give behal credit for that , same with chito beating Sean , these guys knew in their heart they were going win and just what they did, we forget it’s the name of the game disable your opponent or whatever it takes to win
Aljo got saved by the judges and this guy acting like he got a dominating win over cejudo
Him and Brandon Moreno at 135 would be cool hopefully he doesn't retire again lol
I was really impressed with bedoya and lopes on that card. I thought that bedoya clearly beat chaos Williams.
Are you guys disappointed paying 80 bones for that?
Bantamweight GOAT 🐐
Everybody dislikes Covington and Belal I don’t understand a lot of people never trained before or sumthn
I’m not saying aljo lost. He won by split decision. I’m simply stating why people don’t like aljo. So just understand that. Aljo won by split decision. It went to the judges and they gave it to him. Aljo is the champ. His grappling is the best in his weight class. His striking is the worst. Simple. His style is boring.
The following are facts and you can’t argue against them. But if you like, you can address them.
1) aljo has huge size and reach advantage.
Cejudo had to charge in to close distance and aljo couldn’t drop him one time. 2) aljo abuses that knee to the mat. Nobody has perfected that the way he has. Disgusting champ. 3) you know you on your knees way too much when your corner tells you, “I don’t want you on all fours anymore” 4) you know it’s bad when current and ex ufc fighters had cejudo 3-2. 5) you know it’s real bad when New York boos you and you from Jersey. A lot of fans thought cejudo won that 3-2. 6) Aljo yelled to cejudo, “let’s do it” and pointed at the middle like he max Holloway and than ran away!!!
Henry did look just a bit off like solid 8 out of 10 performance from him
Alhamdulilah Belal Muhammad
What has zheng weli been doing she hasn’t been an active champion
New face cam set up makes you look like a 6 year old albino with bee stings on your face
I swear burns looked so off. He just looks slow and lethargic. His speed that he had in the Masvidal fight was non existent.
Aljo never gets respect smhh
Bro the 3rd was definitely cejudos
Belal haters never fail to make excuses the man beat burns with one leg and burns did. show up with an injured shoulder, belal pieced him up
20 cm reach difference bro and you still surprised?
3-2 either way ya score it, very close fight
Just rewatched the fight today, i dont see how you could score that fight for cejudo at all. If you have eyes atleast.
Sterling spent way too much time on his knees in front of Cejudo
Belal wasn't impressive to me, Burns always had many flaws i never tought he would become champion, so after that fight i don't think any of them beat Edwards or Chimaev, Rackmonov might beat Belal, but lets wait and see how he does against the top 5.
REEEEEEE you win this time LucasTracyMMA. I await your next Jones vs Gane pick 💩
Damn, he was rigjt
11:30 boom that's what gonna happan after colby beats leon
Cejudo arguably landed the better shots on the fight though. Rocked Aljo with a knee and landed clean right hands. Just didn't have an answer for the kicks of Aljo
