In india no one school books taught about, vikramaditya, Chandragupta, Ashoka, Prithviraj Chavan, Maharana pratap, Shivaji Maharaj, chola, pandya, cheras, vijaynagar, satvahana, Oham. For this we had to read additional books. These are not covered in syllabus.

In the name of Indian history of medieval times, the only history of Delhi sultanate is taught in schools and university curriculum and all the history of rest of India is very marginalized. Nobody teaches about the Karkota dynasty, the Ahom Dynasty, and the southern dynasties and western dynasties. The influence and contribution of Hinduism and Hindus on the entire world.

My point is, if ever there was Imperialism, even in 3/4th or 2/3rd or 1/2 of Subcontinent.... the Imperial Seat was always Delhi and it was under Muslim Rulers, so you cannot cancel them in History Books..!!

We do study about chola dynasty but not in details.
Indian history and Hinduism go hand in hand and this is what British hated the most. They not only stole ancient wealth of India but also stole Indian texts on science, maths, astronomy, sociology,etc and made modern scientific inventions. All the scientist of 18,19, century used to read Vedas and spoke highly of its influence on their inventions. A lot of them were persecuted by the Church, and historians were employed by the Church and royal family to change the Vedic dates and distorti Indian history, and align it with dates of Christianity. You can understand this from just single fact that the year Sanskrit was abolished in 17th century from Indian education by the British with the reason given that it was regressive, that very year it was introduced in ALL the universities of Europe such as Germany, England, France, etc. And all the Vedas and other texts were translated and included in curriculum!

Imam Ji there are 2 major problems in the Indian Historical timeline in Indian school history books-
1) History of Before Common Era (before 1st century), as Britisher when found Indian civilization is older than 1500BC, and according to them (Christianity) human civilization started 1500 yrs before Christ. So, this revelation can falsify all the claims of European as the first civilized people, Europen being a superior race and white man burden theory. So, to justify their rule in colonies they created false Aryan Invasion theory (Showing Europeans came to make India civilized as being Aryans) and also put the wrong timeline to make it according to Christianity.
2) Medieval history (8th to 17th century), this is mainly done by Islamic and communist historians to, demean Hinduism and Hindus without telling them the actual history of Islamic invasions and greatness and resistance of Hindus to Islamic invasions and make them forget their rich cultural history.
In the name of Indian history of medieval times, the only history of Delhi sultanate is taught in schools and university curriculum and all the history of rest of India is very marginalized. Nobody teaches about the Karkota dynasty, the Ahom Dynasty, and the southern dynasties and western dynasties. The influence and contribution of Hinduism and Hindus on the entire world.

There is a lot of flawed and some utterly nonsensical "information" here. The Romany / Gypsy people are known as Banjaras in India. Their international body is called the "International Romano-Banjara Chave" and it was founded by Yul Brynner and Ranjeet Naik, a famous Indian architect. Many of these people were warriors and they were taken as mercenaries to Europe. Yes, they suffered horribly under the Nazis and they have historically been discriminated against because they are not White. And this is just one community about which this "expert" gets a lot utterly wrong.
Please do not help fake-news spreading ideologues. There are a lot of wonderful aspects to India's history, without concocting the kind of nonsense that this individual spreads either out of ignorance or more likely because he has devious intent.

A 70 years old tall Dewasi (shepherd) wearing their community style turban , Dhoti, angrakha, and a hand made walking stick to make balance with fractured leg. And a big mustache. Very polite. I thought I was sitting in front of great Kushan king Kanishka. Highly Identical to Kanishk's stone bust found in excavations. 2000 years back there was no religion. Only Gods & Goddesses, & ancestors. From Egypt to India , messoptamia , Sumeria, gandhar to greece same culture was followed with little differences. Romans ,Greek cremated dead body. 12 days mourns. Sumerian king Narshih, Egyptian king Ramasih. From Turkey, Iran , Afghanistan, India all wear turbans, just colour is different, even many styles are same. This is the belt where ancient civilizations developed. they intermingled. Rise & fall is rule of history.
