I have used the other eye drops and this one I have received great results. I was using the same through my doctor. But when I submitted for the medication through Medicare and I’m told the cost is $868.00 for 90 day supply. If I got the cash option it would be $89. I was told since I had Medicare I can’t get the cash option. What is with that? How can we get the drug at an affordable cost?
Patient has rosacea that kicks in seasonally, causing very dry eyes. feeling IOL as if contact lens is in eye-- would Cequa work for fixing that feeling? Feel sting with other drops and need to use Liquid Tears 4-5x/day. Blinking, warm packs, etc. are temporary fix of the problem.
I have MGD thanks to taking Accutane over 20 years ago. With that being said, I started Cequa this past July and really havent seen or felt much of a difference. Should this work for those with MGD?
it has been 8 full days that I have been using both cequa in combination with I pur drops , at first there was stinging , but after a few days the burning and stinging reduced. On the 8th day I noticed when I instilled the I pur drops there was immediate stinging and inflammation as a consequence , after about 45 minutes of waiting and applying warm compress , the inflammation reduced , but when I instilled cequa about a few hours later , the same thing happened .The whole reason I am using these drops is to control the inflammation and swelling on the lids of the eyes. It is strange that I am getting this reaction 8 days later. I know these are common side affects as well , but is this level of inflammation and discomfort normal ? I have been dealing with this for over two months now . I have seen 4 doctors and one optho , I am desperate and I would like to resume my regular lifestyle.

What happens if you don't throw away the vial after the first use, and use a 2nd dose? Some others are saying it's safe to use it twice.

No. You need to use warm compresses or seek in office meibomian gland therapy like LipiFlow or IPL with gland expression. Take good omega 3
