    I remember seeing this when it was originally broadcast, and it was one of those AGT moments where the performance blew your expectations out of the water. I don’t know what her off-stage personality is like now, but back then, the contrast between that shy, awkward young teen, and Janis Joplin reincarnated, was jarring. 😎

      Just a bit of background about her then and now. Courtney and her family and friends have always said she's shy only if she don't know you or in unfamiliar territory, but once she's comfortable look out. Today she said she's still quiet when not in a familiar atmosphere or getting to know people. But you can't shut her up once she knows you. Not much different than many younger kids. The one things she love most is music and once the music starts that's where she comes alive and excels.

    Thanks Casey, it was great
    This rock song is powerful and captivating
    Courtney's lyrics explore the complexity of human nature, inviting listeners to embrace their vulnerabilities and confront the shadows that lurk within. it is a journey into the depths of the human soul, are we aware of our immorality, our vices, our deficiency?? fortunately our strength and our virtues maintain the balance
    Courtney has been stunning since AGT! 💥

    All of Courtney Hadwin’s performances in AGT kept getting better and better. Try to find them in order. For the finals she got to sing with the band Struts who had opened for Foo Fighters and the Rolling Stones. First time with the band, but did it as if she had been doing it for years. When AGT asked her back for a return performance she sang her first original song, which I think she wrote herself?

    Hi Casey! So cool that you've come upon Courtney's music. Courtney is absolutely amazing. The best thing to happen to the music world in decades, if not forever. You've only heard the two songs (both uptempo and rocky), but she is equally great in everything from Rock to R&B, Funk, Soul and Ballads and there never is any loss to the incredible quality of her music. She even had an opera clip go viral on TikTok. She has incredible vocal power, control and range. You can't fully tell from this audition and music video, but she is a true stage beast, in the best sense of the word, and dominates a stage like no other when she's rocking out. She's a dynamite guitarist, plays piano and is a true powerhouse as a song writer. As you hear more of Courtney, you'll realize what a truly generational level talent she is.
    In answer to your question, Courtney has said that the monsters in this song are all the self-doubts and insecurities that we all deal with every day. In that sense, the meaning of the song is universal. The monsters may be different for each of us, but we all wrestle with our own personal demons.
    Courtney had been singing for a number of years prior, but she burst to worldwide fame when she took America's Got Talent (AGT) by storm with this performance in 2018. This audition video went viral and currently has over 1 Billion views. Courtney herself has nearly 3 Billion on line views. She has a devoted following of millions from virtually everywhere on the globe. On AGT, Courtney focused on singing classic rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. She literally blew the roof off of the arena with every performance. After AGT, so many who were first introduced to her there, viewed her as strictly this fabulous stage dominating rocker, which she most certainly is. However, she is so, so much more. Few realized how versatile she really was. So she then released a four song EP, where she took massive recent hits across multiple genres, totally re-invented them and created something amazing out of each of them. As an example, one of the songs on the EP was 'Lil Nas' huge record setting hit 'Old Town Road', which Courtney turned from it's original Country/Hip Hop version into a magnificent rock anthem. The purpose was to highlight both her incredible vocal range, but also her unmatched creativity. For all four of the songs on the EP, I've never come across anyone who has heard both the originals and Courtney's version, that didn't feel that Courtney blew the originals totally out of the water. All four songs (Old Town Road, Sucker, Sign of the Times and Somebody You Loved) are on Courtney's UA-cam channel.
    Courtney is 19 now. There have been many hurdles for her to get her original music out. First were issues with her label, where they tried to twist her into something she didn't want to be. Another pop princess. Can you imagine that magnificent voice you just heard being limited to pop. Courtney stood her ground. Then Covid hit and shut everything down for over two years. Courtney is British and travel was completely shut down from the UK to the US (where here team was) during that time. Then her label was sold, leading to whole new levels of chaos. As soon as she could, at the beginning of this year, she walked away from her label and went independent. Since that has happened, she has already dropped five incredible originals. 'Breakable', a gorgeous, gritty ballad, 'That Girl Don't Live Here', a jazzy uptempo song with a touch of 1940's swing, 'Call Me Back', which will rip your heart out every time you hear it, this incredible rock anthem, 'Monsters' and 'Christmas Rocks', which is a fabulous new rocky Christmas tune that will simply demand that you move with it. All of her original new music is on her UA-cam channel and would make for terrific next reactions. There is no other voice in music like Courtney's.
    Courtney has a huge song library that she has developed over the last several years, which she hasn't been able to release, but she has shared many, in whole or part, with her fans, and they are sensational. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. Now that she is in control of her music, it is said to expect a new release approximately every month or two, with an album to drop in the first half of next year. If you're going to be reacting to more Courtney music, you've got me as a subscriber. Can't wait for more.

    Thanks for the reaction, Casey. Courtney sings about fighting one's inner demons (ie, monsters) which, for the video, manifest themselves as multiple Courtney's. She sings about how we all have these monsters inside of ourselves against which we struggle and that, in that case, we're much the same as everyone else, and she adds that we need to help each other if we want to help ourselves. It's the belief that, being altruistic toward other people, can make you feel good about yourself and the world (ie, can help you get rid of some of your inner demons).
    There are lots of studies that show people experience increased happiness after doing good for others. I feel that, in this song that touches on mental health, THAT is her most important message. That's why, it's super-cool those specific lyrics near the end of the song come across crisp and clear immediately after a portion of her lyrics which are creatively distorted in a cool way. The distortion, followed by, in my view, her most important message of the song, is delivered incredibly clear and makes one take more notice of that premise of helping others to help oneself and that, deep down, we're all the same no matter our skin color, sex, ethnicity, etc. We're all fighting monsters and should show compassion toward others when they're crying for help.
    Kudos to Courtney and the person that's collaborating with her on these songs, Kevin Bowe (who's worked with Lyrnyd Skynyrd, Joe Coker, Etta James, Three Dog Night, etc.).
    p.s. With Christmas around the corner, I'd suggest you react to Courtney's "Christmas Rocks" which she just dropped a few weeks ago. It rocks with the best Christmas songs out there! 🤟🎵🎸

    Thanks Casey for the back to back reaction, it was absolutely great. I've been following Courtney since she was 11 years old and it's been an amazing journey. I've been able to witness an amazing vocal artist in person as she has grown in life and talent. Courtney is never disappointing in any of her performances, and she'll always give you a performance that you didn't expect.
    Courtney is an independent artist working only with Kevin Bowe to release her music the way she wants to release music. She had a recording contract but they wanted to change her into another pop princess, Courtney wasn't going to change her dreams of the type of music she wanted to release. That shy girl put her foot down and waited until she could become independent so she could continue her dream. Courtney is an inspiration to all Young and old that you can make a dream come true. It takes a lot of hard work and hard work is what Courtney is all about to produce her music with those unbelievable vocals.
    Courtney just released an original Christmas song called Christmas Rocks, please do a reaction to it. You'll not be disappointed and I know your viewers will enjoy it also. Again thank you for this great Courtney reaction and can't wait to see you react to Christmas Rocks.

    Her monsters are all of our monsters. Our mental health is very important to get a handle on our entire life. Her lines also say that we cannot help each other until we have helped ourselves. This is deep and bold for a 19 year old, but she will sing what she feels is right and what is needed.

    The end of the video gives the main idea. "We gotta help each other if we're gonna help ourselves." We all have monsters that destroy our peace and take away our confidence. She is really struggling at the beginning but seems to gain some real composure at the end (her tuxedo) to the point where she can dance and enjoy life a little. Every song can be interpreted our own ways. This has already been covered by Miley Cyrus's sister and has been recreated with a unique video using Courtney's singing. How they interpret it is probably a little different than what I said above.

    If you watch her 5 singles this year, they're telling (part of) the story of what she's gone through in the last 5 years since the AGT audition. After getting a contract from Simon Cowell after AGT, things immediately went south. The Woodstock concert, which would've been her coming out, was cancelled. Syco Music was sold to Arista which was then sold to Sony Music. Then Covid hit shutting down the industry. Her big album kept getting put on the back burner by mgmt. Then mgmt kept trying to push her into the pop princess role where she wanted to get her own music out. She finally went independent for 2023 and started releasing her own songs. You'll hear some of her history in the music. Monsters seems to have been her saying that we all have monsters in us that were from our history and we have to learn to help each other get over them.

    This, my friend is the future of the Rock industry. She has an incredibly wide vocal range, and genre. I could give you many examples of her singing Rock, Pop, Punk, Blues, Jazz, Soul, Funk, R&B,...etc.
    She is from Hartlepool, England. In 2017, she was on the pilot season for The Voice Kids UK, then the next year she was on AGT (which literally made her an international sensation).
    After AGT she was signed with SYCO Entertainment, Simon Cowell's label, and under this she released a four track EP of covers, and that same year a Christmas cover of John Lennon's Merry Xmas The War is Over. Then Covid hit, gigs were cancelled, the label was sold and the new owners tried to make her into another generic pop princess sex kitten, and held back on her original materials because of this. She wanted nothing to do with that, and this year she became independent. She released five original songs after that. Breakable, That Girl Don't Live Here, Call Me Back, The one you are listening too [Monsters] (which was released for Halloween) & Christmas Rocks (for Christmas). You should seriously check out more of her videos, her amazing covers, and powerful original works.
    In the Monsters video, the different personas she portrayed were different aspects of her personality. The clown represented her sense of humour, the nerd was her education in music history, the one hooked on the phone was social media addict, the Axle Rose lookalike was her hard rocker persona...

    • @givingin2G4Courtz
      @givingin2G4Courtz 6 місяців тому +9

      I mostly agree with you, Darren, but Monsters MV was obviously shot in an old school facility, including the girls bathroom. When we're kids, it's all too easy to be monsters to anyone different. The clown, imho, represents the monsters left in her head by the bullying she endured both in school and on the internet as all the trolls came out when her AGT Golden Buzzer-winning audition went VIRAL. It got more than BILLION views in all forms, according to estimates I've read. These monsters in her head are the echoes, the effects, of all those outer people acting monstrously toward her in many various ways. We all have the 'standard' tiny angel on one shoulder and tiny devil on the other whispering into our ears. She's just expanding on that a tad, both testifying to her own experience in her tumultuous teen years, and sharing that we all have monsters of various kinds in our own heads, and we've all behaved stupidly in ways monstrous to at least one other, often unknowingly when we were kids, or at least carelessly at some stage of our lives. It's our human nature. But she's looking forward to a time when those monsters that seem so large now have diminished and disappeared. At least that's my read of the situation. Of course I'm at the other end of a lifespan, so my own experiences are shading my perspective on these lyrics and the emotions her performances kindle.

    • @darrenbent7601
      @darrenbent7601 6 місяців тому +6

      @@givingin2G4Courtz I can see that too. Too me, those bullies were jealous of her success. Just because she was already on a big stage before, it did not mean that shy was not shy, her family testified to the fact that she was, on multiple occasions, even on TVKUK. I'm so glad that her grandfather and family helped her out at the time, and it is nice to see her doing what she loves now. She is a refreshing artist, and I hope that she gets all the success in the world ahead of her to come.

    Cheezyxyz great react.
    In her music there is a small thin red thread, you can follow. Especially in her first two songs "Breakable and That Girl Don't Live Here". But even "Call Me Back and Monsters" We who have followed her for many years notice this. This girl has not had an easy start in her career. With bullying from listeners from her appearances on Voice Kid UK 2017 and AGT 2018 because she was different. They thought she screamed instead of singing and that she danced strangely, etc. The pandemic also put a real stop to her album release. Even though she had a contract with Simon Cowell. He sold his record label during this period. And Courtney got a new contract with another company. But they wanted to change her into a regular pop girl, and she wasn't allowed to release her own music. Something that Courtney did not agree to. She wanted to be herself making her own music and having her own style. So she let her record contract expire. Which it did at the turn of the year 2022-2023. So now she is an independent artist and can make the music she wants. She writes music together with Kevin Bowe, who believes in her a lot. She will go over to his studio in 2024 and make an album of brand new songs.

    That night, which many of us were sitting in our sofa's or recliners watching AGT on the TV, and those who later got to see this video on UA-cam or some other platform is the moment we jumped out of our seats, standing and screaming to anyone in the same home to "Hurry, come here you got to see this girl". Courtney put a fire under many people seats to start looking for more music from her and also got us interested in seeing if there were any other artists who could entertain us like she could. So many people have said, including myself, Courtney Hadwin is the reason I got interested in new music.
    It's a shame the music industry didn't realize they should have let Courtney be Courtney after they signed her. Big, big mistake on their part. They tried to play it safe and follow the same formula that they thought worked for the past 20 years prior, but little did they know, their were many music enthusiasts who wanted someone original and talented like Courtney. Their loss.

    Loved, liked, and sub'd. THANK YOU!! So glad to see another discovering Ms. Courtney Hadwin, ROCKSTAR extraordinaire! And thank you, too, Jesse @Beldvlmnt for spreading the contagion! I found this youngster only about a year ago. Got me to stop lurking and allow the Evil G..... to have an even easier time tracking me as I stopped blocking most of their javascripts to be able to do my bit to help Courtz and two other young ladies get more views and spread their amazing talents and skills far and wide.
    I do wish I'd found your channel earlier, Casey, to pass along this recommendation about this particular performance of Ms. Courtney. But once you've seen it, it's hard to go back and try again. Please excuse the LONG form of my exuberance, but there's some background and CONTEXT that further enhances, IMHO, the shear enjoyment of this amazing performance by this young ROCK QUEEN of GenZ.
    ==========================
    I KNOW that everyone's going to be pointing you at Ms. Courtney Hadwin's amazing audition when she was invited to compete in AGT after her performances on The Voice Kids UK, Season 1, the prior year, 2017. AGT audition happened in first half of 2018, before her 14th birthday in July. Yes, very highly recommended, B U T PLEASE try my way the first time you see this?
    Greatest Magic Act EVER: TRANSMUTING STRESS INTO GOLD!
    Here's a different take on how a newbie should watch this vid. It might still work if you've only seen this performance once, but unlikely, it's pretty memorable.
    Watch as the judges talk to her. When she bows her head before the Hard to Handle music starts, and you're not sure what's gonna happen, CLOSE YOUR EYES. KEEP THEM CLOSED UNTIL SHE FINISHES SINGING. Yes, that old voice is coming out of that young girl's body. Pause replay (and yes, you smartaleck, I mean open your eyes when you pause replay), go back to where you closed your eyes, then watch and listen again. It's a TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE.
    BUT FIRST, get some BACKGROUND, the broader CONTEXT from that fateful day. Courtney was on The Voice Kids UK the previous year, yeah, at 12 years old. She was a finalist, standing onstage (it was a MUCH SMALLER show, with a MUCH SMALLER in-studio audience, many of which were friends and relatives of other contestants) with the other 5 finalists (3 coaches x 2 kids per coach) when the winner, not Courtney, was announced. I very STRONGLY recommend hearing those performances first.... By her audition on AGT the following spring, to which she was INVITED because apparently someone on staff saw her TVK-UK performances and said OH HELL YEAH WE WANT THAT ON AGT, I suspect she'd talked herself into believing this might be her ONE LAST BIG CHANCE. Failure here would mean she could never be like Tina Turner or James Brown, or Janice Joplin, or Mick Jagger.... But, she also remembers the advice her Coach Danny Jones, of McFly, told her on TVK-UK, and she's going to just leave EVERYTHING on that stage by the time she's done. Even if they buzz her off and send her home in disgrace. I'm so frikken PROUD of this youngster who finally mastered her fears enough to go do what she came there to do!
    So, when she starts to perform, you're seeing what STRESS, FEAR and MUSIC do to this young girls body. This may be the BEST MAGIC ACT YOU'VE EVER SEEN OR HEARD OF!! But as she just lets the music take over, the stress and most of the fear gets TRANSMUTED into this INTENSE ENERGY that just FLOODS the audience as she hits her stride. The most amazing thing you'll probably ever see! Here's a vid about what happened that day EXCEPT for the actual performance. Enlightening to watch her drawn face and hunched in shoulders, and her cringes as savage Simon's Red Buzzer goes off and dreams are crushed as people get sent home in failure.
    BACKGROUND, no performance: ua-cam.com/video/bMJZzDzweK4/v-deo.html
    OK, finally, here's a link to that clip of her audition at start of a longer collection, with a bit more detail offstage left in this copy, not cut as short as the copy to which you just reacted. This performance went VIRAL, originals were taken down, many many copies have spread out, each edited by each channel that came upon them. I think this is the most complete I've found, taken together with the background/context clip I recommended above this:
    ua-cam.com/video/lPWNBUtMNsQ/v-deo.html
    ==========
    After this one, I'd strongly recommend another clip, her SECOND performance, first after receiving Golden Buzzer, in the first LIVE TV SHOW of the season on AGT, when she uses all that energy to transport us all back to 1965 when James Brown first performed his hit song "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" (got a brand new gig, way of doing things, not just job). And yes, those dance moves are what comes out after she's studied the old old dances named in these lyrics, and James Brown's own performance and dancing. She gave up on trying to duplicate what he did, and decided to just let the music guide her. So VERY GLAD she made that choice. This is MUCH better than any reconstruction of his moves. This is ORGANIC, it's OF THAT TIME, there are bits and pieces of those old named dances scattered through her performance....it's just friggen' PERFECT!!
    There are details in the copy to which I'm pointing you that are cut out of all the other copies I've tracked down so far. Be SURE to listen to the judges afterwards. It's the heart of all that comes after, right down to what she's doing TODAY. Simon and MelB especially. Here's that clip:

    WOW this was awesome, going from AGT to Monsters! For anybody watching who doesn't know "WHO IS THIS?!" it's the perfect introduction.
    I've heard at least one other person say What's up with the clown. I think the best answer I can give is watch this. It's older than AGT, even older than The Voice Kids UK which was the year before AGT. ua-cam.com/video/H_8-khKyxVc/v-deo.html

      @prakaklef THANK YOU!! I had NOT found that one before. Well done.
      Remember, other than having joined choir in school, she started out learning for herself how to sing, how to achieve the effects she so admired in the old UA-cam vids of classic performances from her grandparents' time, from all I've heard so far.
      By our time now, she has gotten several levels and kinds of vocal training since she started, of course, but that start was all her. I wish she'd have had professional training early on, with more emphasis on enunciation, on hitting those consonants, but then again that's not exactly what James Brown, Etta James, Mick Jagger, nor so many others are known for, either.
      I'm not sure at what age she started busking to earn both gas money for her dad taking her around for busking and competitions early on, and to pay for her music lessons, as she tried to emulate her virtual mentors via classic performances from the 1950's, 60's, 70's and even 80's on UA-cam, again, if I've pieced together accurate accounts of her early years. I'm truly in awe of what this youngster has not just TRIED to do, but has SUCCEEDED in doing. I believe Tina Turner, Etta James, Janice Joplin, James Brown, Otis Redding, and more would all be quite proud of what this youngster has made of herself through dogged dedication to her dream, already for more than a DECADE, and she's only 19 now!
      THIS is how you pull yourself up by your bootstraps! THIS is how you develop true EXPERTISE, develop the SKILLS to make your dreams come true. Eventually. Even when it seems the whole universe must be conspiring against you. She's said she DOES NOT like roller coasters (told coach Danny Jones before getting ready to go onstage for quarter-finals on live TV on TVK-UK in 2017). Too bad, she's been LIVING on a true monster of a roller coaster, with:
      [1] the cancellation of Woodstock 50 (where she was on roster for Day 2, Saturday, on that BIG STAGE on that fateful anniversary weekend), and
      [2] Simon Cowell selling his 'label' to Sony in trade for their stake in his 'reality TV' business leaving many of his artists in difficult situations contractually (including our Ms. Courtney), and then
      [3] the pandemic shutting down live music, putting the whole music industry into a deep freeze when it came to developing new talent.
      Yeah, at age 14 through 18, that has to feel pretty damned personal, a bit too much like the Book of Job.
      But now she's free, she's on her own again, indie. And she's been a very busy young lady, self-releasing 5 original songs in just 10 months and 4 professional music vids on a shoestring budget, with God-only-knows what financial hardships left over from previously having been under contract and having presumably been tied to a huge loan at exorbitant rates masquerading as an 'Advance' from her label(s). I shudder to think of all the complications she's grown up with in her family's financial life due to all those shifting circumstances.

    I've been watching Courtney since she appeared on The Voice Kids UK, aged 12. She sings Tina Turner's Nutbush City Limits. Her singing and dancing were amazing. It is available to watch on UA-cam. I think her nerves were better as the judges weren't facing her so she didn't need to speak first. She only got 1 chair turn from Danny. She deserved a 3 chair turn. Will I am & Pixie didn't turn. Will I am compared her to Janis Joplin.

    Metaphorically. The monsters are the capitalist record companies that held her back and restricted her artistic talent , that’s why she is now an independent , hense the clown which I guess represents the companies , the multiples of Courtney I would think represent the stress and the multiple personalities she must of felt like being misdirected for 5 years before she was able to get her much much loved music to her fans. Listen to breakable it has the same metaphorical undertones of how the companies restricted her artistically. She is a music legend of our time, everyone knows when they’ve heard Courtney sing, she rocks “the “ world not just my world! Simply love her music !

    Very good reaction to the best young performer out there! I like your juxtaposition of AGT audition that gave Courtney her initial boost to her recent original showing her maturing songwriting and performance skills. You will get much background from other commenters, and I hope you react more to Courtney. I only had one moment of perplexity: when she started the chorus, you said it didn't have punch and then asked "see what I mean?" I did not see what you meant. To me, the chorus was quite puncĥy and appealing and rockin'!

    I know you're a "WARNING" fan. As am I. The one thing I've realized why they suddenly got their commercial success as opposed to why Courtney got hoodwinked by the industry is because of the label each has, in Courtney's case had. (She's now independent doing well) The Warning has a very good support system from their label Lava/ Republic Records, Where as Courtney's ex label Arista/Sony kept trying to reshape her image to a pop singer instead of letting her be who she is, among many other obstacles. She's a natural rock performer as you saw, but she's also has a great voice for singing Ballads and other genres and is extremely passionate on stage. Her ex label held her back for 4 years at least. But now she has a great producer co/writer in Kevin Bowe. It will take her longer to get that recognition like The Warning has gotten because she never had the support Lava/Republic records shows their artists, but she'll get there. I hope one day Lava/Republic records approaches Courtney, but not until Courtney goes at it her way, only to do things as she always intended and continues to grow her fan base. She's got a million plus fans on YT and roughly the same count each on a number of other media platforms. Soon that number will explode when she releases her 1st originals album and starts touring. But who know, she may just want to keep it this way. It seems a lot of new artists are very comfortable without a label telling them how to be.

    Ano, mám rád Tvé reakce. A to jsi z přešel z reakcí na bicí, ale jsi stále dobrý, zachováváš si tvář... Tohle je dívka, mladá dáma, která pokud to vyjde, se ještě hodně hlasitě objeví - já aspoň doufám... 🤩 Není toho moc, co by bylo tak dobré, vím je tu Liliac, ale to mne nějak nevzalo za srdce - i když je dobrá! Pak je tu Diana Ankudinova - to je fenomenální hlas, ač zpívá vše možné, je dobrá ve všem! Ale já jsem rocker, takže nejvíce mne teď berou The Warning - protože hardrock je lepší než metal - nechť mi metalisti prominou, ale typické pro metalisty je jejich pozérství - nevím, jak jinak to pojmenovat! Rock a hardrock nebyl nikdy podle šablon - což metal je! Můj skromný názor - proto vždy vítám nové muzikanty a interprety, kteří si sice něco vemou z již existujícího, ale v nejlepším slova smyslu to přizpůsobí obrazu svému - to je rockové! Metalisti většinou jedou jen podle šablony a je mi jedno, že jsou instrumentálně špičkoví, když to zní vše podobně! Snad pochopíte, co chci říci a nebudete se zlobit - v opačném případě je mi to stejně jedno! 😉 Yes, I like your reactions. And you've gone from reacting to drumming, but you're still good, you keep your face... This is a girl, a young lady who, if it works out, will get very loud - I hope so... 🤩 There's not much that's that good, I know there's Liliac, but somehow that doesn't grab my heart - even though she's good! Then there's Diana Ankudinova - what a phenomenal voice, although she sings all sorts of things, she's good at everything! But I'm a rocker, so I'm most into The Warning right now - because hard rock is better than metal - metalheads will forgive me, but typical of metalheads is their poserism - I don't know what else to call it! Rock and hard rock was never cookie cutter - which metal is! My humble opinion - that's why I always welcome new musicians and performers who take something from the already existing, but in the best sense of the word adapt it to their own image - that's rock! Metalheads mostly just go by a template and I don't care that they are instrumentally superior as long as it all sounds similar! Hopefully you'll understand what I'm saying and won't get angry - otherwise I don't care anyway! 😉

    Yea, I see what your talking bout on the chorus, however I think the music is there it’s just that the music is to far back in the mix, as u stated they should have punched it up. Could yo imagine a Coutney- Warning collaboration, my gawd that would be awesome!! 2 different camps bringing back rock and roll. After her AGT stint she signed with Simon, and they tried to change her, since leaving Simon not sure who’s managing her now, but in the last year she has been doing her own stuff, I think this is her 4th release since then, I wish the videographer had filmed more of her dance moves he kinda chopped it up and steered away from it for some reason. The "Monsters" are all those niggling doubts or fears [the clowns comes from the trend of the scary clowns on the streets] that just grow and will take over unless you conquer them. It is our fears that will control our lives if we don't control them. Courtney had crippling stage fright and was vomiting before that 1st performance you played. They left her until the last act of the day and she expected red buzzers all round telling her she was no good. You have to overcome the fear, and she did. Then she had to come out as a performer all over again after a forced break with C-vid restrictions that took all the momentum she gained from her AGT appearances. She overcame the little hobgoblins of the mind again.
