Help! I need to buy a metro ticket in Paris and I don't know how!
A post with such a cry for help from a German pilgrim gave me the impetus to create this video after I recently went to Paris and got my local transport diploma there. :-)
You are faced with four public transport systems in Paris that have the same 5 zones and can be used with the same tickets, but are difficult to navigate. There are no group tickets because each passenger has to validate their own card again and again, nor are there any online tickets.
Mobilis day tickets are valid for all means of transport; For single tickets, you have to buy a new ticket when changing from Metro / RER to bus or tram.
With the Ile-de-France Mobilités app you can bring the various systems together and even load some tickets onto your smartphone.
On the France-trip.com website you will find a valuable overview of tickets etc. for your stay in Paris.
