If you had prepared a little better and spent 15 minutes getting to know the car, you would have found that the infotainment is actually quite easy to operate. The way you try to press the buttons on the touch panel with a hard pressure says it all. If you had found the home button it would have been a little easier to find the navigation. Bought a fully equipped 2024 ID.3 myself and love the car. Have driven VW since 1995, mostly Golf GTI. The ID.3 is by far the best assembled VW I have owned. No creaking noises and everything seems very sturdy. I love the head up display (which can be adjusted) and the swipe function on the haptic buttons in the steering wheel. And then it drives with rear-wheel drive and DCC quite sporty. So not a big loss compared to my Golf GTI Clubsport.
The only thing that makes me holding back from buying one is that it seems to have higher degradation than other models and for that reason I am thinking about getting a Kia EV3 but i don't know I like the ID3 a lot I wish the did something to the battery.
@ never heard of this. Don’t believe it’s an real issue. Seen an aviloo SoH test for 100000km on a 77KWh battery it was still at 93%. Biggest difference on the cell voltage was only 6.11 mV which is extreemly good. VW warrants that you still have 70% after 8 years and up to 160000km
To bad that's the 2024 version. The 2025 model year is even beter and it's being delivered. 30% higher charging current, more efficient motor and 20kW more power as well, much better infotainment and software. And a 1kWh bigger battery....don't forget the small things. Oh, and remote parking...but if you need that for such a compact car you shouldn't be driving anyway😉

@clauspetersen9353 That's non that bad actually, my fear was based in some tests made by Bjorn but maybe they improved the batteries.
You should research the car a bit better before doing a review. I did like your style though and it really is a good car.
is it not?
Good honest review, you deserve more views. Thanks for the review I’m thinking of getting the ID3 pro 150kw
Glad it was helpful! Hopefully you’ll love it!
Why did he not compare to the e-Up or BMW i3?
ID3 is a bit bigger than BMW i3
And way way bigger than e-Up
ID3 or Mini Aceman?
Aceman Review coming soon!
How’s my man comparing the ID3 to the UP? It’s meant to be a golf equivalent
LHD wipers are super annoying, and not confidence inspiring they’re not cutting corners elsewhere…
Love car
