    Paige's post round interview was worth the watch, all by itself.....let alone watching her return to champion level play!

    Back in 2020, I stumble across some random YT vid from the algorithm with the final round of Worlds MPO (where McBeth won his 5th), and now in 2024 I'm watching FPO and cryi, er, experiencing some large Portland area raindrops. Damn you Jomezzzzzz!

    Congratulations Paige, I'm so frickin` happy for you! I'd imagine that the excitement with this win may only be eclipsed by your very first. Here's to many more and a bright future. All of the ladies played awesome and was a treat to see Sofia rockin' the USA. Always love me some hot geese telling us how it is. Great coverage as well.

    Womens disc golf has really improved in the last few years. I dare say, in large part to Paige coming out and crushing everything always. Amazing to see her back in a grove of competition where they seem to elevate each other.
    An unfortunate day for Ohn, I always love watching her and Kat, but what a day for West Coast Canadians- well done and welcome Sofia... and get some decent disc golf courses Victoria.

    Several weeks after and still brings a raindrop out of the blue to my face. I didn't know about Missy and Tom being with you and you suffered your entry and how they helped you. I got to be one of two flaggers on whole number 15 on that soggy championship Sunday. It was good cover for the mini tears of joy shed on Paige's behalf. I am a big on Scoggins fan and was sorry to see her kind of wilt on that last day. She has been playing so amazing. She hit the cage I don't know how many times on that last day. Obviously a great showing by Holen Handley on the chase card and solid tournament for So Far Sofia, the Doctor from beautiful BC. Also shout out the Rebecca Cox bringing it home nicely in the rain. Love all of you fine people. Jomez and the Hot Grease rule. PS I picked up a Hot Greese Jomez MVP Wave at the tournament and has been flying great for me. Only thing it's missing are the autographs of Madison and Erica. Hopefully I can manage not to lose it for the better part of the year and get them to sign it next year. Honk yeah!

    I'm glad we got to see the conversation about the Mando. I do think they need to move the sign to the other side of the tree if that's in because I agree with what Ohn was saying. Either way, stoked for Paige and that provisional was sick.

    How was that a made mando?

    • @bensalemi7783
      @bensalemi7783 5 місяців тому +2

      Because the mando is a specifically defined line, as determined by the tournament director. In this case, the line that defined the mando was on the outside/right side of the marked tree. As long as your disc didn’t cross the plane of the mando on the right side of the tree, it wasn’t a missed mando.

    What a shame playing loud music over Page's great speech at the end.
    Generally everyone in the LPO played great this past weekend, but seeing Page winning was especially emotional.

    Congrats to Paige….so on that mando call, which I thought was correctly by Paige….here’s the thing….and why I love FPO so much…..watch Kat Merch reaction after Paige throws it in! Classic example of someone truly showing class and sportsmanship (this isn’t a political word, by sportsmanship’s I refer to woman hence the word man, is also part of woman) The amount of bs and deception relating to social issues is the most politicized divide and conquer narrative, which doesn’t want to solve issues, rather just fuel these arguments which only bring us backwards, solving these issues puts them out of a job! Just look at the thriving billion dollar industry of homelessness! (Sorry for that) I love watching women’s golf and disc golf for the pure fact, they are so much smoother than men. These ladies were crushing the disc, perfectly executing their personal form, getting as much out of their throw as possible, it’s amazing! Ohn ripping drives both ways at her age is incredible, what a bunch of gamers y’all are! Mad respect to all the women, you all make disc golf better with the comradery and exquisite biomechanics/athletic abilities! FPO rules!
