Great video! Charybdis gets shit on so hard, but I think it's because ppl don't understand her. And landing all of this attack chain can be difficult so if you are missing a lot she will seem weaker than she actually is.

Definitely fascinating to see the variety of different ways to build Charybdis, and mainly how crit items work so well on her. I'd see crit items overlooked for such a long time on her, as the crit damage also contributes to her 1 (the shrapnel gets the increased damage on crits) *and* allows her to annihilate minion waves in record time, though even against gods exclusively, it is shown to shine through in these calculations. I personally kept avoiding using Qins' Sais myself, but these calcs lead me to the revelation that they simply too good at shredding tanks to pass up, and even pair well with crit!
That said, there is certainly more to her viability than raw damage calcs, as survivability and item/gold progression is definitely large factors in how different hunters and players build. I personally prefer Death's Toll as opposed to Gold Arrow simply for the early-game and even late-game sustain, even if it may lower my potential end-game damage output. The additional sustain helps counteract her issue of being very committal to her pushes and abilities, since she thrives at closer ranges than most other hunters. She will likely go underused for a long time, with people not realizing her true potential or not understanding the unique positioning required to play her optimally.
I’m really glad this information has swayed you on building qinns! And shown you crit + yellow damage builds are viable! I completely agree there are so many variables in smite that just calculating highest DPS is not the only thing you should think about when building, and I’m glad people use their own thought processes to determine what to build because that’s half the fun! These videos are meant as a kind of guide to inform you, not make decisions for you, so I’m glad you’ve been informed! Hello! I did consider putting it in, but I decided not to because 1.) if I add 1 more item it adds about 50,000 new combinations of items to be processed which means it’ll take ages longer to run. 2.) Annimosity deals magical damage and so hunters can’t buy %penetration for it, meaning I don’t think it’d appear in the top builds.

Would love to see a video showing how builds scale with fg and pots and buffs. Crit might quickly outshine qins but I'm not sure as to what point it would take over.
That’s definitely an interesting point! I imagine qinns would still be the best item against tanks but an %increase to power would definitely favour crit, maybe I can look into this!
What about heimdallr ? his basic attack are way different than others gods it's combe of 3 auto-attack, he cleaves auto -attack and crit are less effective on him, and his auto-atack are less fast than other hunter ? Can you ask to python ? Or idk if it's possible, but maybe u can create site where we can search for god and find different ways to builds ? Thanks for your work

I've messed around with this before and I agree Charybdis has the highest potential but I find when I play her at least it's very hard to position her in fights. Skill issue I guess... I think she isn't a top hunter right now though because she lacks burst and range. Her ult isn't great either.
Yess, as much potential as she has she does have her down sides!

How does the new item affect this? I'm intrigued because Charybdis can build the stacks easier than other hunters due to her progression chain
Hi, I have just made another video on the new item if you'd like to check it out, although I haven't modelled Charybdis in that video, just a standard hunter. If you'd like to check that out it might give you some answers, but specifically for Charybdis I'm not too sure.
Just so you know, deaths temper doesn't work on structures. I have no idea why it works that way, probably a bug. The extra auto attack damage has no effect on structures.

Not on Charybdis, she deals 20% less damage on yellow items, but unlike obow and qinns, manakins has a limit to how much damage it can apply in a set period of time, meaning it doesnt benefit from her auto attack chain at all and still has 20% reduced damage, meaning she is the worst hunter for manakins
