  • I rode the classic slabs of Squamish .When you make a purchase on this link: bit.ly/39xojyn You support my channel and help me to put out more, and better videos!
This video was filmed during Covid 19, which is why I rode alone and slower. Remember that risk 0 does not exist and that risk is relative, and right now more than ever if you live in a country where you can ride, you need to take it easy.
If you are not from Squamish, enjoy this video and you will be welcome there again soon.
These trails are amazing and I'm very fortunate to be able to ride them. A special thanks to the builders and SORCA, the Squamish MTB association. To get your membership: sorca.ca/
You can find the trails I rode here on Trailforks:

Yes! Love your channel and thank you for still posting content that allows us to stay connected to our sport, especially for people that are currently unable to get out or have very limited areas to ride. You are being a true ambassador to the sport by being sure to point out conscious decisions in real time where you point at an alternate line you would normally take and are choosing not to and that you talk about how you are riding slower and being more precise.

@@remymetailler Definitely, you're very right. My first time on Boney a number of years ago, I met up with one of the sorca guys and we rode Boney and Hueso together. First thing he told me was to really control my speed on the large slabs(and ya, heavy front braking). I didn't listen at first lol.
I feathered my front brake half way down the first big slab ( you rode it in this video, one of the first bigger slabs on Boney where the trail forks right) I gained speed so fast I couldn't control the bike. I then hit a tree at the bottom lol. My bar took all the impact and I was fine. But either way, it was a learning experience. Lol. I listened after that!

all about balance of risk.. you are one of the best in world. No doubt... stay home and be a leader.. we will respect you not being on our screens for a few months. No disrespect meant.

It is a tough one. I would stay home if the situation was worse but BC is doing pretty good so far. A lot of businesses want and need exposure during these tough time so people don't forget about them. The financial impact is real. I promote safe riding, but for now will keep on riding. If the hospitals were getting busy I would stop immediately.
