Mostly India. Rest branched out. India was the epicenter where these recipes were formulated. Formulated here because the invaders (don't throw a fit, it's not politics it's history) who settled here found this land has a love towards food and spices and adapted & adopted to it. India enhanced the Mughal cuisine. It's one of the feathers in the hand that is India. Bangladeshi friends have taken these recipes there and they have some innovations too. Pakistan is no doubt as good as if not better at Mughlai cuisine now, nevertheless it all originated in India. This is India's heritage. Could claim it pre partition but not Post.

Kunna gosht is an amazing wedding dish. I'm from Lahore and we had that on my wedding. Its very common here in Pakistan. Kunna means clay pot in chinyoti language and traditionally is a stew slow cooked in a clay pot native to chinyot in Pakistan. Hence the name. Brilliant video. Mouth watering food looks so perfect.

Nihari is very much common both in Delhi, Lucknow and Pakistan.. Difference between Niharis in Pakistan and India is that in India we use Buffalo meat(Bade ka Gosht) and Goat meat(Chote ka Gosht often referred to as Mutton) for Nihari Where as in Pakistan only Buffalo and Cow meat is used...

Bhai.. bulandshahar is in Uttar Pradesh state. Almost 2-3 hours from Delhi. Since it was perched on a highland it came to be known as "high city", which translates as Bulandshahr in Persian language during the Mughal era.

Difference between Niharis in Pakistan and India is that in India we use Buffalo meat(Bade ka Gosht) and Goat meat(Chote ka Gosht often referred to as Mutton) for Nihari
Where as in Pakistan only Buffalo and Cow meat is used...
