      Stephen Gauthier ,why some people say that the new Mack have many problems?

    • @Seveneleven44
      @Seveneleven44 6 років тому

      Stephen Gauthier so do I,they’re garbage. Underpowered, cheaply made. Try keeping the guard dog screen scratch free, oh wait you can’t because they use plastic instead of glass. The steering wheel blocks your view of the tach and speedo all the time too. I drive a 455 horse daycab with a 13speed 3.83’s. It’s true what they say. They run like shit, I mean a dog.

    I have been delivering local freight forever. Next week i'm going to buy a day cab. I am looking at a 2015 cxu613, Because the only mac I ever drove Was a box truck once once and the turning ratio was terrible. My question is For getting into tight places would you recommend this truck?

    It does not " you're loaded." When you apply air to the trailer, it automatically goes to 2nd gear loaded or empty.

    • @transportequipmentinc.9153
      @transportequipmentinc.9153 7 років тому

      Yes, It shift just like if you were to be grabbing gears yourself. Its an AMT Automated Manual Transmission. Meaning it still has a clutch plate meaning longer life and better control than a typical Auto. The MDrive is amazing and very smart and much lighter than most other competitors out there. With the Manual, Performance and Auto modes you cant go wrong. There is an option for whatever the load or road may throw at you.

    What is the problem when you park put it in neutral and the truck don't start it cycle threw but don't s crank over I had two m drive trucks do that and had to get towed back to my company yard

    • @jaimecastro1342
      @jaimecastro1342 2 роки тому

      If run out of air while in parked' not in neutral won't cranked .
      Nither be able put it in neutral..this transmission needs air to shift...
      So it's very important to let your driver's knows about that.
      Don't need to towed..you can transfer air from other truck..

    I own one ,out of my four truck s two volvos and a freightliner ...this is my favorite. smooth and quite ride fuel miles its great! I wish the key were bigger its micro small to open the tool boxes must used the same key, also the space between the steering wheel and seat its very limited ,one more thing,,they should have the gear box bottons more away from the engine brake its too danger by mistake I had pushed the reverse botton insted of engine brake and the truck gets in N and there's no way to shifted back to drive...other than that I love my Mack truck..

      I know in a car you can't put it into reverse when the vehicle is moving. I assume it's the same with this. When I was driving my dad's 1973 camaro z28 with an m20 you couldn't slam it into reverse as well.

    not a bad looking truck one my top 4 trucks 1st Kenworth T 680. 2nd Peterbilt 579. 3rd Western Star 5700 's and last but most certainty not least the Mack Pinnacle cxu 613 now if only if only they would 86 the push button auto or that stupid flip switch auto like what have in the freightliner western stars I'd rate them higher at least on a Pete or a ken you can get them with a shifter on the floor where they belong but that's my opinion
