What websites do you browse if you disable javascript? Most modern websites are created using js frameworks, like React or Angular, so if you disable js the site won't function at all.

Tor needs an upgrade to hide screen resolution and mouse movement by creating a virtual desktop overplayed on yours and only bridging through both when you press a mouse button.
Y' know it would be amazing if The Hated One makes a video about I2P and Freenet.

I had no problem installing Tails on a USB stick, but could never find any way to connect to the internet! Might it be that Tails on a USB will not connect when using WIFI? just asking....

Hey can you do a video about easily migrating your important accounts to a different email? I set up a lot of vital accounts on one compromised email address before I knew about cyber security and I would like to know the best way to migrate your accounts to a new email.

@@luxxers So far it seems very reliable. It's open source so there's no spying going on. So if you use DuckDuckGo it's pretty secure.
Of course Tor is much more secure but for me it's way too slow. Brave is just perfect for me.
TOR is built into Brave with adblocking. After launching Brave, you select the MENU and choose NEW PRIVATE WINDOW WITH TOR. That's it. The TOR brave window does not permit installing extensions (like uBlock), since extensions can leak your location.

The concept of Tor works so long as your gateway to the internet is not tapped or monitored, because ALL your traffic goes through that point irrelevant of routing. Then your only protection are the protocols and encryption.
So the casual hacker is avoided, but systemic controls and direct taps into ISPs simply make you feel secure when you shouldn't be. If your using known encryption protocols and an assigned key by a central body you have to consider the likelihood that agencies government or otherwise have access to such keys. Then were is the privacy and protection?

Wire Tapping and Package Sniffing is still something to consider.
Here at home im 99% sure that nobody is listening in on my traffic except MAYBE my ISP.
But when you are out and about in public WiFis you just never know... The Tor Browser is just the start to full privacy and anonymity.
@@alouisschafer7212 Public WiFi is probably the most insecure means of accessing the internet. Not only is your device constantly publicising your location (both WiFi and Bluetooth) but it also identifies you to the devices around you in a very close proximity, especially Bluetooth.
Once you start using public access your device address, MAC ID and often device details are stored on a public device open to others who can gather that information with something as easy as wireshark. Every piece of information is yet more they can use to mimic your device or try to attack it.
With a MAC ID they can start attacking your own security like ACL on your router. Turn it all off and use another separate device like a phone, then don't use that phone on your home network. Keeping the two separate reduces the chances of your network being compromised.

What they're offering is hosting, but they're also another point of attack. Because a VPN service focuses ALL traffic at one point again, similar to a gateway. Tap the gateway of a VPN at exit point post decryption you have everything - with just the additional layers you applied for security, and how many are layering security in VPNs? It's no different to a direct tap on your ISPs gateway, plus it's in another country, another jurisdiction and legal framework which may not recognise your rights the way you see them?

Sadly outdated. Enabling Tor to use bridge connection is no longer part of the settings, not even in other tabs. The whole interface seems to be overhauled and barely anything looks like it does in the video.
In other words, having fun as we know it will get your privacy screwed :/

Unbiased review... I have used Jritch quite a bit from time to time when my normal vendor is unavailable or away for bud. The bud was decent at best.
