  • Hello friends. Today I have a completely unusual oatmeal recipe for you. I came up with this recipe for making oatmeal for dinner myself, my family appreciated this recipe, and now I often cook this way. It turns out a very satisfying and tasty independent dish for dinner for the whole family. And what is important, it really takes half an hour to cook it.
    So, let's begin.
    We put finely chopped onion in a mixture of butter and vegetable oil until light golden brown. Then put the carrots, grated on a Korean grater, into the pan. Saute for a few minutes until the carrots are soft. Now put the sliced zucchini into the pan. I have fresh zucchini today, but you can use frozen zucchini for this recipe.
    We cook for another 5 minutes so that the zucchini let the juice go.
    Now we put finely chopped chicken into the pan (I have chicken fillet today) and fry for literally 5-6 minutes, until the chicken changes color.
    Now add boiling water. The amount of water depends on how thick you want the dish to be. If you, like me, like the oatmeal to still remain whole and separate from each other, then you should not add a lot of water.
    Immediately salt, pepper the dish to taste and add spices. As spices, I use dried garlic and a little suneli hops. Do not add a lot of spices, so as not to clog the taste of chicken and oatmeal with them.
    Now add oatmeal to the pan and stir. It is necessary that the oatmeal is covered with water. For this recipe, I use oatmeal, which needs to be boiled, not just poured with boiling water. In my opinion they are more useful.
    Cover the pan with a lid and cook under the lid for seven to eight minutes. If necessary, you can add boiling water and adjust the density of the dish to your liking.
    Our dish is ready! And if you knew how delicious it is! In this form, I eat oatmeal every day.
    RECIPE:
    Oatmeal - 3 cups (300-350g)
    Chicken (I have a fillet) - 750 g
    Onion - 1 - 2 pcs (200 g)
    Carrot - 1 piece (200 g)
    Zucchini - 300 g
    Vegetable oil 4 tablespoons (50 ml)
    Butter - 50 g
    Boiling water - 3.5 cups (700 ml)
    Salt, pepper to taste
    Dried garlic - 1 teaspoon
    Suneli hops - 0.5 tsp
