1st year in university, my friends from childhood told me they were playing Yugioh again. Just like we did as kids. My interest skyrocketed and I went to a supermarket, looking for cards. I bought 6 boosters of this very set...and got Odin & Loki. After that, I bought a deck core and joined my bros playing. We played in that group for 3 years, every single week. Then the group got into an argument and we slowly stopped playing. I'm still in touch with some of them, but as far as I'm informed, nobody is playing Yugioh anymore. I had a great time during these years. Went to YCS events with them, had pizza & tcg weekends..it was great. And I'm thankful for the time we had. Storm of Ragnarok will forever hold a special place in my heart.
That sounds like great memories. Sorry your friends split after disagreements (hope you guys rekindle your friendship down the line) but it's always great to look at a set that brought you those wonderful memories.
I remember when I went in high school and bought one Storm of Ragnarok booster pack and lo and behold, I got one ultimate rare Odin. I was very happy and I still have that card in my collection.
@@Dingg00se No way Sherlock. Thank god you told me they exist. I wouldnt have know. Im basically just asking for something that could make them more competitive. Alviss and Gullveig is an improvement, but doesnt make them a threat against high tier deck.
@@lootch3013 My dear Watson, what you're asking for is way too much. I don't see how getting 2 GOOD cards isn't love on Konami's part. They could have gone with Synchrons or something instead of giving us Gullveig and Alviss
I still easily remember opening up a samurai assault special edition and pulling a secret maxx c and then an ultimate great shogun shien a good while after 😎!! And I still have a sealed blister box of stor that I've been debating on opening now.....
I remember watching unboxing STOR on your channel on release. This was also my first booster box and getting excited pulling Burido and Shi-En. Boy I am old now lol.

BigAR thank you for writing back. I actually emailed you guys about 12 hours ago and haven’t got a respond. I really like what CyberKnight Advertised about how the app manages the collections but on the App Store there isn’t a BigAR YGO manager. It only has an app that tells you the prices of cards and scans them. In the video it has more features then the scan one on the App Store.
Great video Cyber. I've always liked the Nordic cards (even if they weren't really that good of a deck). They still had some nice artwork about them. :D
Just let you know instead talk about the old packets we are going to get a new legendary gold box for rival in 2020 it will be new red dragon archfiend new Rainbow Dragon and new Galaxy eyes new blue eyes and finally we are going to get link5 for Borreload dragon
I just opened one of these boxes up about a week ago, out of a special edition booster box I pulled Odin ultra unlimited of course, then out of a random blister I got an ultimate unlimited Loki and last week in this box I finally got Thor ultra first edition

I remember this set from back in the day when I used to play more of the tcg. Got a karakuri bureido as an ultimate and an ultra from the same box.
If you think about it, the og god cards arent the only god cards, the nordic gods as well.
