This is a song that my mother was led by God multiple times to minister to and out of her obedience, God used her to set free, deliver, and heal a number of people. At first I wasn’t a huge fan of the song but after hearing it every time my mom would listen to it, sensing how powerful it was, and seeing her all those times give heart out while ministering to it, it began to grow on me 😌. The more I heard it the more grew a desire to minister to it, however, I really didn’t want to do it alone (I also felt like I wasn’t “worthy enough” to do so...🙄) This was the last time my mom had ministered to this song; it was about 3 months before she passed. I hadn’t told her about the desire I had to dance to it, but towards the end of the song, through my mom, God was telling me to act on the desire and minister to the song (I was standing in the corner of the room and she began directing her moves towards me. Right after she finished she said to me, “God told you to minister to this song.”)
I did in fact end up ministering to it and posted it to UA-cam, but me and my mother both wanted to eventually do it together. We never got the chance to be able to do that and, as I said before, I’d kind of lost the desire to dance at all after she transitioned. But, after months (honestly just about a whole year) of trying to get back into it, finally the fire in me was rekindled to get back into the ministry of dance. It had been hard hearing this song since she passed, but God put it on my heart to minister to it in honor of her. I’m still a little rusty considering I haven’t danced like this in a while lol but I think it was really something I needed. I really, genuinely hope this video touches someone and heals any brokenness and wounds you may have. I may still have the pain in knowing and seeing that she’s no longer physically here but I thank God that He is healing me and showing me that she is in such a beautiful place, dancing her heart out and I wouldn’t want any less for her. ❤️❤️❤️
