He’s not crack broken like akuma or bison but he has every good tool in the game except like a command grab imo he’s upper mid tier low high tier, somewhere around ryu probably
Id personally plce him either in the middle or lower end of A tier. Pretty good, but not amazing or broken. Main issues is the fact he doesn't have a move that goes through or around fireballs very effectively (crackshoot goes over but if it doesn't hit its very punishable and has short range unlike cammys spim knuckle) And his normals are pretty mid ngl, besides stmk and crmk
Yo, I said on another online discussion about Terry’s playability that I feel like he’s a troll from Capcom to the top tier chasers. You have to fight the urge to fall back on instinctual inputs and reactions from your main, definitely challenging for me as a Luke player switching temporarily to Terry for an upcoming tournament. There’s rewards and consequences for adapting to a different shoto style w him as you displayed…nice run 🕹️😎👍
Maybe time has allowed the over-inflated ranks to even out somewhere closer to SFV? That's what I'm going with, to protect my ego when I placed like Gold 3 with Akuma of all people lmao
@@Jardonius Nah, i legitimately believe there's inflation happening. Even in master rank at some point the 1400-1600 range was full of people who clearly climbed spamming one gimmick and couldn't do anything else, but now i feel like the vast majority of matches have people with pretty good fundamentals
If I'd known the tip about hitting three times at 0:25, that trial would've been so much easier haha. Looking for an audio queue instead of just brute forcing it

You have to do a guide on passing sway move from Terry, with practice you can avoid almost every attack 💯
