Wonderful reaction! The following performance was from the same Russian show as "Can't Help Falling In Love" and ran for 9 weeks. There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other. There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course of the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles.
The song is Bopoha (Varona) - The Crow, and is from the same show she was participating in. It is in the category "Pop Hit" and is a cover of this Russian pop song:

This is one of my favorite covers by Diana. It's dark, magical and emotional. Her timbre is unmatched. You can find other artists singing this song before her...and no disrespect but Diana blows them away. Her dark vocal color is a perfect match for this song.
I agree and I don't quite know why but I'm affected by her jumping forward during her performance. I guess she's putting a physical emphasis on her words at that point.
For me the meaning is....and I might be completely wrong, but this is a song about the morning of a relationship lost. All alone in the house, not able to sleep, wondering where you are? Your Heart has been blanketed by a winter Blizzard by this loss, how do you go on when so emty inside? Diana stated at one of her concerts, at first, she didn't like this composition because she didn't understand the emotions behind it and had to practice and practice, then she tapped into an emotion and it came to her. But now,,,,,, embraces this wonderful composition and has performed it many times at different events and concerts. The first Lady that pressed her button also named Diana, stated. How could a 15 yr old tap into these emotions? She herself in her mid 40s was amazed by her artistic maturity and of course her unique voice and timber. Bravo Diana and as always a good reaction Ma'am 👏.

Greetings from Scotland! "Вьюга" pronounced (V'yuga) translates as Blizzard or Winter Storm. Originally sung by Grigory Leps, a Russian musican of Georgian origin, born in Sochi, Russia. This is still my favourite cover song by Diana and this particular performance is my favourite performance of it!
No Rosalie, that was not Igor Krutoy on the judges seat. That was Evgeny Margulis, a musician that has the title "Legend of Russian Rock!" There's a lot of info on the net about this guy. (He has lots more hair than Igor!) 😊
The depth of emotion that Diana conveys here is absolutely immense! When she was originally asked to perform in this contest, she really didn't like it because she wasn't happy with the result. But in true Diana fashion she told herself to "Get over it!" and as a professional, she found the right "angle" to sing it from! Because of the huge emotional cost when she sings this she usually follows it by singing something very upbeat and happy, just to balance things again. Every time I listen to this performance I get a picture of her sitting in the darkness, her soul shredded from the brutal blizzard of emotions which follow after a long term relationship break up! If you have ever been there - it's a very special kind of hell! Diana's ability to put these emotions into your very soul is incredible! Even at such a young age! Take even part of the lyrics where she says "Somewhere you are sleeping, somewhere, but not with me!" My God, that's deep! Great reaction as always Rosalie!

V'yuga was popularized and originally recorded by Grigory Leps, but he did not write it. The lyrics were written by Egor Zakharov. The music for V'yuga was composed by Fil Pisarev, who is now composing and performing under the name Fil Ginzburg. The Russian-language Wikipedia article has always given the composer's real full name as Philip Borisovich Ginzburg (Pisarev).

This song is about loneliness, about unfulfilled love. But I think that Diana passes this song through herself and her connection with her mother, who left her and now will never know her daughter's love. This is the cry of Diana's soul, which remembers all the pain and fears of her childhood. I cried when I first listened to this song.

Sure, I think the judges sometimes don't want to buzz during the performance, ESPECIALLY for young artists. That I guess was the case with Igor Krutoy when Diana was singing the Wicked Game on the show. And he chose a pause in the song before the final build up to buzz at that specific moment not to interrupt or distract her.

Well, to me it is a love song, while winter, snow, blizzard are only metaphors to describe the feelings. I'm not sure how old Diana was in this video (probably, 14), but the performance is fantastic. Diana is able to transmit strong emotional waves into the audience. I don't think Igor Krutoy was present among the judges. That old gentleman in glasses is a Russian musician Yevgeniy Margulis. As for the authors of the song: the music was composed by F. Pisarev and the lyrics were written by E. Zakharov. Thank you for the reaction.

Those buzzers are so annoying. What is the point of being able to approve of a performance during the performance? To distract the singer, add tension? They could easily give their opinion at the end. The last thing a performer needs is to worry about approval. It kills authenticity.

Я вас хотел бы поправить, просто те, кто занимался девочкой вокалом, они УЖЕ Поняли что в их руках будущая звезда. Когда ей было 12-13 лет, окружающие уже были уверены(!), что это безусловная звезда!
Когда наша Российская богиня приехала из Тольятти в Москву, то каждый идиот уже понял, что в Москве в сфере музыки присосалось огромное количество бездарей, которые привыкли решать вопросы за бабки!
И по этому когда талантище в очередной раз попало на эстраду чванливой мАсквы в поу "Супер", уже ВСЕ поняли, даже сука глухие(!) какой посланник божий причалил и это ей было 14 лет, девять лет назад, так что вы припозднились чуть)))!
И я полностью разделяю любые восторги в отношении Дианы, в отличии от Московского, вырожденного бомонда....
Теперь можно смело говорить всем, что в том же Тольятти в музыке, точнее вокале смыслят гораздо больше чем в сплошь дипломированных лучшими консерваториями слоях московских пИвунов.
Простите за сочащуюся желчь в строках,, просто реальность оказалось имхо ещё хуже чем я описываю.
