COLORADO BULLDOG by MR. BIG (original drums by Pat Torpey)

I wanted to pay tribute to a really great drummer, Pat Torpey (who sadly passed away some years ago). I listened to this album of Mr. Big in particular when I was in my teens and never happened to listen to it again. So I picked one of their masterpieces and globally known hits. The main rhythm of the song is really difficult to play because you're playing fast broken triplets with feet and sometime you lose the feel (as I did in this attempt). The other tricky feature of this drum arrangement is in the middle section, opening and closing the hi-hat between bass drum triplets. That was really hard for me to do. Hope you'll enjoy.

Ottima cover vome al solito..gran pezzo e gran parte rock di Torpey (il pattern con il doppio pedale sul solo é fantastico). Mercoledi prossimo li vedró in concerto, Di Virgilio sicuramente renderà giustizia alle parti di Pat.
