Tell them Rat Rod Bob sent ya!
Hey Bob, I have yet to see such a great craftsman as you are
This is the little shop that you work your ass off . Nothing is free . It takes work . Congratulations
Great video. Not only you getter done, it is very entertaining. Painting my 29 i started same time as the coupe. You should do a video maker show with the stuff you use
Man I feel your pain when you said, "I don't know who was building this but I'm glad they stopped!"
Finishing someone else's project can be a daunting task!
You'll get it ya just ain't got it yet. ;)
Great job! Plasmas cutter looks like it does the job.
In 2024 the only shop that gives you time off with pay!!
Enjoy the weekend off with pay Bob 👍
Master at work love it have good weekend off bob god bless u
“Yep! Gonna be great.”
Coming along nicely Bob Very nice plasma cutter
The Little shop where I daydream of being an apprentice. 😏 I wish Bob was my Grandpa 😁 Me and ol Red could test drive the rat rods 💀 🕷️🕸️ 🐀
Nothing like new tools to try out!
I reckon this coupe is possibly going to be your best build yet Bob, I’m an absolute fan of this model, they are extremely expensive in Oz, can’t wait to see your vision for it ❤
His best? Do you pay attention to the work he does? He's slapping a pre made fiberglass body on to a pre built chassis, there's nothing in comparison to him building cantilever suspensions, rebuilding entire truck cabs, designing air ride systems, and his metal fab skills. This will be a good build but "best" build... you are basically disregarding all his previous craftsmanship and fabrication on past projects.
@@TheRoadhammer379 I said best because it’s my dream car!!!! No need to be a dick! I’ve watched every episode of his and in “my” opinion this could be his best build
you're an awesome guy man look at that cool guy welding and fabricating I like itkeep up the good work God blesses Mike😀👏🌄
Bob it's LOOKING GOOD!
GO Bob!! Looks good so far.
Love your new plasma cutter it's awesome Bon take care see you soon
G'day Bob,
Dang if that ain't another cool vid .
Respect...!
That 80 sounds like a herd of screaming demons! I watched with headphones thru a stereo and on very loud when cutting with that bad boy!
Hey Bob them is bubblegum Welds 😊 we are glad you have it now✌️✌️👍👍
Hello Mr. Bob, first off thank you for all your tips and tricks...now for a tip from me to stop the rust from taking over the new steel. Get yourself a spray can of clear liquor and spray it all over the parts that you want to protect ...works like a charm and you can paint over it any color afterwards
The last time I used clear liquor I wrecked my car, got a DUI, and spent the night in jail.
I wouldn't recommend it.
Do you mean clear lacquer lol?😅
@@hellonwheelz3317😂😂😂
I really do enjoy your videos and your content, I don’t know anything about plasma cutters but that big boy looks mean, have a great weekend my friend, Brian..
Thanks Bob always learning something

ol' Bawbs belly is HUNGRY !!
Hungry for BURNOUTS !!!
WoOoOo HoOoOoOo
Coming along so nicely Bob. 👍😎✌️
Thanks for another , Brother !
I'm impressed Boss. I bought a cut 40 20 years ago and it was around 2000 beans.
Cool stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
One step at a time. Good solid motor mounts and the transmission mount is coming along nicely. It is getting there.
That grader blade makes good knives. I have a knife shop Bob. I make any kind of knife you want. Small swords also.
That Ole 80 amp ripped right thru that material.... Good stuff ! Your making some good progress on that ole Rat Rod mister Bob.....
Another good one 👍👍
Bob she is going together very nice, smart planning and attention to detail.
Great work as always Bob! You’re an inspiration!
It's going to B great Bob love your videos i am 74 and have watched most of your videos thank you for your time.
You 3/4 of the way to them subs keep up the amazing work Bob
Nice work on the motor mounts. Those frame supports would never have worked for sure, That plasma cutter looks great and seems to do a really nice job. Look forward to more . Be safe and stay well.
Love it Bob another great video thanks
Nice video! Thanks for sharing with us
Awesome
Hi My Friend Very Very Great Job ❤❤❤❤❤
Great job Bob , It's coming right along .
Looking good,long ways to go.
Absolutely loving this build....
Another awesome video!!!!
Hey Bob. I like the design of your home page. You did a good job designing it. An 80 amp is nice to have if you have enough amperage in your shop. I only have 60 amps so my 60 is good enough. That is a great cutter though. You better trim your beard a little if you plan on using that cutter. The sparks were coming close to burning you up. Or are you going to try to look like ZZ TOP? Ha-Ha. The hot rod rat rod is coming along just fine. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
Gettin er' done. Just ain't got it yet. Bob your a high stepper, with your old school rat rod building skills. Class dismissed.😊
Hey Bawb,
I hope ya gonna ad some gussets to the top and bottom of those motor mounts.
The torq of that engine will twist them mounts pretty quick and easy.
I have had good luck placing a bar under the engine side to side inside the frame rails with the mounts going up from the bar.
Bestarc is doing pretty good at building a nice plasma cutter and having you prove it in the shop with real time cutting.
I would think ya need to get ya rear suspension in before ya set the height of the trans mount.
See ya next time.
AMEN brother
Hello bob. Just put a couple of tack welds on that rear diff to hold it in place so you can roll the car around until you get a rear diff built
Those braces look like they might be real DOM tubing for race cars. You can grind the mud dober welds down and make a couple passes over them. Move them where you want them. Its looks good what you got done on the motor mounts. Your getting it done. Maybe you can stiffen up the body with some wood or metal and glass it in. Plus roll bars.
Great job Bob... I know the wheels are turning I can't wait to see you pull off fixing those doors... You may have to get red to figure that out for you but keep him out of your design and chair let him figure out where he's going to figure it out!
always great work, and know how to fixs other problems.
Obviously the back end is going to have too come up more than an inch if it's sitting on the frame now unless you're notching the frame, it'll need more travel for the suspension to work. Nice advertisement for that plasma, bringing the fire storm into the workshop 😂 I'm going to check it out👍
Plasma cutter 80 amp is not available!!! Maybe next time !! Great stuff Bob !!! Thank you for sharing !!! Be careful my friend and God bless you !!!! Eddy
Yep ... they're selling like hot cakes. If you want one, be patient. I'm sure more are on the boat headed over here.
I'm diggin it!
I’ve been fibreglassing a windscreen frame and bulk head for my 32 ford truck
Maybe I’ve missed it but for those of us that want to replicate your build, stating the measurements you end up with would be helpful.
A little more each day! Well get you rolling soon Bob....hopefully steering too!
Bob, the one frame subsection from the driver's side has a greater/sharper angle than the passenger side
Diffently need to contact speedway motors and be a paid sponsor ❤
I still never gave you a holla about borrowing 1 of those plasma du dads..be safe brother
maybe consider a couple gussets under the engine mounts? looking good though
Hey Bob, thats right its almost a roller, at least its probably a dragger, lol, that plasma cutter is the _ _ _ _, now im going to go look at the paint job on the yellow street Rat Rod, i think im going to copy you on my 55 truck, catch you later
Make your bills Bob love that fiberglass used to metal but I'll take fiber but it's good when the Sparks start flying😅😊😢😮😢❤
Be careful you don't burn down your shop !
User give away for your old smaller plasma? Share the love!
The problem is ... unless you are a giant shipper like Speedway of Summit etc. it would cost as much to ship it as it would to buy one.
🏁👍👍🏁
Lookin tuff
Raise the rear end for axle travel clearance and noticeable/perfect California rake!
24:55 So I'm not the world's worst welder after all. Haha! Thats what here in New Zealand we call "bird-shit welds".
Hay Mr Bob it's like you say all the time. It's a rat rod.
"so who cares, right?" 😄
I use my welding helmet as a guide to trim my beard, you should try it
Wow Bob class with you is amazing how you teach with out pay joined ya cause ya do it with the idea ya got it but not yet great theory involved in the way ya do it small shop were dreams will come true soon hopefully ya get your subscribers to come on board l did from small shop in Canada 🇨🇦 Sk take the rest of the week off with pay p.s were,s the crew ? Later Bob ya got this 😊
That was a terrible insult to a “Dirt Dauber”. 😂
Looks like a flock of pigeons showed up and splattered all over that metal 😂
🔥💪🏼🇺🇸👌
Hey RRB
love your vids, just curious, what rust converter do you use?, I use corroseal cause it dont run as bad as ospho. And have you ever thinned RC to make it easier to spray ?
Keep gitten it.
I use ospho.
how long have you been building cars?
Hi Bob, I don't kno if this will work out space wise, but maybe, the Motorcraft oil filter, part number FL820 is a shortened version of the FL1A that is listed for yer 429, that may leave the space ya need for steerin w/o the expense of a relocation kit, just an idea, love what ya do 👍
Yea gonna try a short one before I buy that relocator.
Hey hotrod Bob,where do I get the plasma cutter the air one you were talking about?
I always put the links in the description ... but here it is: reurl.cc/YVMrbD
dam they are out of stock of them 80amp cutters, just an't got it yet
Got two left here: reurl.cc/YVMrbD
Won't last long!
do you ever sell any of your finished cars ?
Yes, I've been known to.
Looks good with the weight of motor n transmission on it Bob.
Looked at a car like with welding on it like yours. Had all the right pieces to make a nice ride.
Just sloppy workmanship. Your cars coming together well. Rat Rodoligy works.
What video is your compressor dryer system on.👍
It's not a build video but I talk about it here:
ua-cam.com/video/6XcGELDfCLU/v-deo.html
do you still have your 30 ford ?
I do ... it's at Wesley's.
starting to look like a car
I have a cut 50. looking for bigger . 5/8 sheet .
Hancock MI. up in the thumb
K
The welding on that crossmember looks like chewed up bubble gum.
Thos mounts need speed holes BOB
We always said that it looked like an old chicken backed up and took a crap on that joint.

Ahh, another flavor of the month Plasma cutting commercial. I wondered where those went.. I missed having you promote a new and different plasma cutter every month. Of course the one in the newest video is the right one to buy.
He puts out content steadily, doesn't spew political views, doesn't force brands down your throat and he occasionally reviews a tool. Are you really going to low key cry like a child?
@@TheRoadhammer379 You need to put 4 speeds in. Good job.
