Queenbra ♥
I can relate when Kimbra said that in your late 20s are the defining years of your life and start to understand failure and success. Love her
A real talent that's underrated. Kimbra's music keeps you wanting for more.
She speaks her thoughts so clear, unfiltered, and eloquent -- a rare quality.
No one describes the creative process in a more literate and honest manner than Kimbra. You can see her soul thinking and organizing her thoughts into creating music. Wonderfully beautiful.
If you ever get the opportunity to see her live, GO! *GOGOGO!* Her live performances are ethereal and unforgettable! I saw her in Santa Ana at the Observatory. She's truly magical !

I had an anthropology professor named Kimbra.
She's entirely too charming.
Her fashion sense is equally as good as her music in my opinion.
Can't tell who is singing, kimbra or her guitar. Wow you are special. Look forward to your future works.

The Aust/NZ thing in someways is simaler to Canadians living right next door to the US. They are often assumed to be Americans. Untill you get to know, and to tell the subtle differences between Canadians and Americans. Or the Canadians happen to have a maple leaf flag on their backpacks! Likewise, New Zealanders are often taken to be Australians. There is a sort of fuzzy understanding by some. That Aust and NZ are one and the same thing. Where NZ being smaller, is the kid sister or little bro. And so is sort of - just part of Australia. While it is true, we are close and very similar. And in some ways, are like family siblings. Which is probably why we occasionally squable!! Nevertheless Aust and NZ are 2 seperate nations. With our own subtle differences. There has always been a close relationship between the Aust and NZ music industries. Therefore any NZ singers and musicians working in Australia. Understandably, go out to the world as Australian. In that sense, i understand the way Kimbra said - finally. NZ is starting to get some musical recognition in its own right. As she was born and raised in New Zealand not Australia. As stated by the host. She went to Aust for a few years from the late 2000s. Then as she said, to the US. Her original singles and albums were first released in NZ. Then Aust. And a little later North America.
Ummm like fuck she grew up in Australia!
hellovanite as you say . . . grew up in New Zealand and then went to Melbourne for a few years to prepare material for her first album.
lsd22252 Americans just don't give a shit
You can't speak for all Americans, shut up dude
Okiyuko - Okay general statement yes, but heck dude this ain't an isolated incident. Nope this happens all the blardy time. Too often tbh so yeah sort em out for us will ya
Such a good interview and performances, but it's buried under that awful, unnecessary, drawn out intro. Can't believe the clueless interviewer tried to trip her up with "Me Too" rubbish, go down that rabbit hole. She is obviously way above and beyond all that.
I have to say Kimbra turn out to be a better woman and better man than this narrator
She did two great albums then flopped out 😬
The performance was ace as usual but the interviewing was awkward & off balance due to so much misinformation. Mayhaps they need better research editors so they can frame better questions?
