Well, the track and environment look almost same in Train Simulator game (if you know that game). But the routes in Train Simulator (TS) only reach Ebbsfleet (for Eurostar) and end in Faversham.
I needed to know why they don’t dig a tunnel and do an extension for the main line Train so that they can extend the unused abandoned underground train stations. Why couldn’t they use the part D78 Stock train doors on the sides and also restructure the front face of the A60 and A62 stock and that includes the class 313, class 314 and class 315 remix and make them all together and also redesign them an overhead line and also make them into Five cars per units and also having three Disabled Toilets on those Five cars per units A60 and A62 stock trains and also convert the A60 and A62 stock trains into a Scania N112, Volvo B10M, Gardner 6LXB, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel Engines and also put the Loud 7-Speed Voith Gearboxes even Loud 8-Speed Leyland Hydra cyclic Gearboxes in the A60 and A62 stock, class 313, class 314, and class 315 and also modernise the A60 and A62 stock and make it into an 11 car per unit so it could have fewer doors, more tables, computers and mobile phone chargers. Why couldn't they extend the Piccadilly Line and also build brand-new underground train stations so it could go even further right up to Clapton, Wood Street can they also make another brand new underground train station in Chingford and could they extend the Piccadilly Line and the DLR right up to Chingford? Nice video, really good POV video. Especially of HS1, absolutely love HS1 and projects that are taking place around it for example "The London Resort" & Ashford Movie Studios. Look forward to possibly seeing popularity for all these in future via Eurostar aswell busy train traffic. Especially for the new theme park for Kent itself. Anyways, cheers for uploading and sharing. Have both Liked & Subscribed 😀👍
first time i've seen an HS1 view - a lot of tunnel isn't there? not a scenic approach to London compared with the route into Waterloo. Was the second tunnel the one under the Thames?

I think I can see what part you mean, and I'm pretty sure it's the footbridge allowing the national cycle route to pass.
Good video, no decent videos of hs1 from a cab view. would love to see a full video of one. Was this on a Eurostar 373 or a javelin?
Most likely a 395 (javelin) due to the train stopping at the domestic platforms at St Pancras
@@WestRail642fan And for starting on the domestic platforms at Ashford Int.
Javelin 395 m8 as the platform is 12 and a eurostar is too big for that lol

The Thames is just after Ebbsfleet - the tunnel that begins at 3:32 so, yes
much faster now lol and better for south london lines more capacity for them
Ok who wants to know how fast the train would be traveling to do this journey in 6 minutes.

It was sometime in 2008 since the domestic platforms at Ebsfleet and St. Pancras have not opened yet, along with Stratford International.
There is Javlins, the High Speed One class 395s.
I wish it wasn't sped up

Anyone know why there was blue cones along the platform at St Pancras

I was somewhat surprised by the severity of the curves considering that this is a high speed line. How much was this video speeded up?
Nonstop this is about half an hour's journey.
It like 30 minutes and it calls at Stratford and ebbsfleet
What train are we on?
Hitachi Class 395

At this speed you can see how much hillier modern high speed lines are than the old ones.
Above ground HS1 twists and turns to follow existing infrastructure (M20, M2, A2) through Kent, to minimise environmental impact.

395, 373 or 374?
395 high speed.
Would’ve ether be a 373 or 374
It's a 395 I work on them so it is a 395
A class 373
Obviously isn't a 374 as they wouldn't have been around back then
What a poor standard of construction with very many curves and gradients. It is no wonder Eurostar can't go the speed it goes in France!
Not entirely correct. It is designed to have gradients and curves to reduce construction costs whilst the trains can maintain 300km/h
