I bought this one with the escape door, but it is solid. Wish it was see through and wish there was a window as well for the cats to be safer. Never put food in a feral cats shelter, keep it several feet away for safety from other critters. This was tricky to put together alone and I had a hard time getting the joints to close tight by myself. Will retighten with a drill tomorrow. Thanks for the video. I did not use the divider. My feral cat is huge and there are several others in the yard as well.

I read that you’re not supposed to put a blanket on the heating pad, but I was wanting to put a cat bed on the heating pad, to help keep them warm & cozy. Any thoughts on that?

I put a hand towel over my feral heating pad and change it out to wash it whenever the need strikes. An escape door is essential for outdoor cats.
