They give EVERYTHING they have on the stage for Army. After seeing footage after such a high powered performance, as soon they get lowered below stage, the staff is waiting with water, air, fans and towels etc...because the guys collapse breathing hard and crawling to stand up. BTS are so professional you would never know by the way they are on stage.💜💜💜
Exactly! Also, this is only one medley of probably 4 or 5 that they perform during their concert, and we don't know at what point in the concert this was. BTS are just amazing!

Their medleys are craaaazy. This wasn’t even the end of the show this was middle towards the end. But their stamina and how they pace songs so everyone sings some and everyone gets a chance to be featured. The live band is outstanding and the newest stage mix of Fire makes me soo hype. Also Jimin gets even more crazy, Kitty Gang Jimin was a whole mood, he was Feeeling himself when he had a certain outfit/tour and it’s legendary.
Jungkook even at the moment of jumping or running retains a smooth and stable vocal, how?-_-He's incredible.

I heard some of them say that they used to sing while running on treadmills just to be able to sing that steadily and on key, stablel no matter how much they were exerting the rest of their bodies. But it's still amazing and incredible that anyone could manage to get their voice to be that stable, that strong while RUNNING a marathon practically.

My daughter and I have been fortunate enough to see them live 6 different times and they never ever disappoint. Not only are they amazing but with each performance they still find a way to improve on their last performance. Their 2.5 hour concerts seems like an hour show because time truly does fly when you’re having fun!

I just want to thank you for recognizing that Yoongi is more than he sometimes seems on the surface. And for recognizing that he's a damn fine dancer, which he does not get enough love for. During Dope, my eyes are always drawn to Yoongi and Jimin. For me, they are the standout dancers during it.💜
I don't know if you noticed John, but at the Beginning of Fire they were listening to Dope. So they really did flow well into each other.💜

Think about it! These songs are before they became global superstars. They had no idea how high they would rise. But look at the work and the energy they put into it. That's why they are kings!
Fire was the song that got me into BTS back in 2016. My eyes landed right on Yoongi... and when I saw Dope, I couldn't take my eyes off him again. My love for them kept on growing ever since.
Their endurance is amazing really. I rarely see anyone talking about this but for their whole love yourself tour, they be doing medley like this then V only gets a couple of min to change outfit and perfoem singularity then fake love right after. Their dedication and hardwork are top tier.
I saw them live at So Fi stadium in LA and they sang and dance for 2 and 3/4 hours without stopping they are simply amazing!!!
Watched Each Fire live performance and Boy Jimin's Footwork is Freaking Masterpiece. Like He's something else.
Dope made Suga my bias I asked my granddaughters who is the blonde he is killing it. Also Dope encouraged my granddaughters to study more and both graduated from early college with honors💜

Yoongi has a b-boy background. He wasn't able to continue with it following his shoulder injury. I personally feel like his dancing gets overlooked a lot, but he is a really good dancer.
I love his dancing too. As Hobi said, he has a very good groove. I love to watch him when he raps, he moves so naturaly.
Yoongi owns Dope choreo IMO.. he is so underrated when it comes to dancing but he moves really well, that’s why I can’t with those peeps that say Yoongi can’t dance.. this is the vid that made him my ult bias💜💜💜 and this is also my 1 yr old’s fave BTS song.. soo….

There used to be a concert video taken by a fan, of the song, Bulletproof pt.2 During this performance Jimin reached down inside of himself & hits the most guttural, rasp, gritty voice, you have ever heard. I wish the video was still on the internet, so you could hear it. I know you would appreciate the moment. We see his talent all the time but this performance showed something different. It was truly a moment on stage where he hit Greatness. There is also a piece of video where I was so scared for JK in Chile. They were doing all out performance and the altitude took JK out. I remember him laying there with oxygen. The look on the other members faces was worried and they had to go back out on stage. You'll have to see that too. Oh and you have to watch Tony Montana: Suga & Jimin at the 3 Muster performance. I want you to see everything!
Jimin have a very unique voice, and he make some gorgeous high notes but also this amazing raspy voice. Jimin, like J-Hope for me, shine differently on stage. They always know how to capture the essence stage, to capture crowd attention, they are really showmen. Even when there isn't a choreography moment, they moves differently.
I think a became so capture by their presences more than the others because I began watching live performances before watch MV or read the lyrics, so even when I doesn't understand the mean of the songs, I always enjoyed the energy they gave on stage.
Jungkook high notes always are amazing, that's why he is the main vocalist in the BTS, his ability to versatile his voice how needed is brilliant, and all his ad-libs and chorus, and he has the most stable voice, his voice never cracked even doing hard choreography, for me Jungkook always is outstanding, his power full dancing movements are just WOW!🔥🥰 💜 And in the group, they all are good dancers and singers in their way, love you guys! 👌💜💜💜💜💜
I love this live! Another never seen for me. They are all just feeling the crowd & themselves (some quite literally) 😉 Jimin hits different when he just let's his freak fly and we get the deep raspy growl from him then you know it's a party 🥳.

Regarding their dancing skills: Not being the best dancer in BTS still means you're better than 99.9% of the population.
Jungkook is one of those rare persons with PERFECT PITCH. He is so stable and has a beautiful voice!
As an ARMY who has enjoyed them in a concert. The energy you see here is just like you imagine plus ten times... I lost my voice singing, screaming and jumping.... the hours felt like minutes, they are awesome!!

I prefer their live performances to MVs every time. Besides the energy it’s that they make sure that we know they are singing with very soft backtracking. I also LOVE their award show performances. The creativity of the sets and artistry of the “story” is so impressive. “Fake Love” award performances are my favorite at either MAMA or MNET. I can’t remember at which one they did the intro with them appearing to be handcuffed or tied in open cells for the intro. So we’ll done!
I 100% agree! I love their live shows so much! Or any live show honestly lol but BTS is a whole other level! This was the peak for me! 💜
I THINK it was MMA 2018 where they are tied up in cells (they are representing marionettes, and breaking free from the strings that control their movement). I probably should have double-checked first, lol, because it's so easy to get MAMA's and MMA's mixed up.
And I'm sure you are aware but BTS Permission To Dance LA concerts is available to stream on Disney Plus. And they perform Fire (a remixed version) and Dope back to back and it's incredible. I don't think it's an actual live band, they just re-recorded the track to make it sound like a live band.
I was fortunate enough to see them in Vegas and I can confirm that their ending and encore are a party. The energy is palpable and you can’t help but to get lost in it. These are my absolute favorite videos of them to watch because you never know if you’re going to see one of them going hard in the paint or being goofy or having a water fight.
"Dope" was my first exposure to BTS thanks to my daughter. I was hooked immediately, and it remains my favorite thru the years. Even spent $2,000.00 and drove to NJ to see them a few years ago. Freaking awesome!!

If you notice that the group of 7 allows them to rotate themselves to the center easily. Very creative! They are all in the lime light at one point or another!!! Great way to never leave anyone out of the light. Awesome tactics for group formation 👏!!

Thanks....that was an awesome reaction. Going back to something you said about how precise their choreo was so early on....if you watch the dance practice, the full choreo from their very first release, No More Dream, they were perfection from day one. It amazes me because I know that many labels, almost abusively, force practices on their artists, but BH left a lot of what BTS did up to them and they themselves, through hard work and dedication, pushed themselves to be the greatest. ARMY grandma
None of the new Bts fans know that Jimin did that high note in the album, they changed on the mv to Jungkook. Maybe because he was the center, but Jimin did all the high notes, background adlibs and more adlibs in the earlier songs. But Jimin is the high falsetto that is beautiful and still reigns to this day. Just a amazing singer.
And after all that dancing, which we know they gave 100% on it, they can still sing! Without breathing hard! Amazing!
Their live performance of "so what" is just as hype. They did several different kinds of medleys from different tours through the years. They had smoke guns on all four corners of the center stage. They also do water canons and different styles of firework/pyrotechnics.
I can't wait for "So What" and "Best of Me". 💜

My everchanging favourite song. It changes from dope, fire, baepsae, and Run. Whichever song is being played is my favourite. ha ha. For the folks who had the opportunity to watch BTS Live, I envy y'all.
Thanks for the reaction John, this is a really awesome collection to react to! . You, when the burning car dropped "Jesus, that's freaking awesome!" That's about the same reaction from the boys while shooting the video. Also you being stunned by Jimin's fierce growls - dude, V and Jimin have been growling like that since their earliest days. I've been repeatedly viewing their earliest songs for the sheer pleasure of seeing the fierce determination in their baby faces. I'm in awe of their choreography but I really, really love when they freeform like in this concert, when they go around and connect with all parts of the audience. Fun fact caught by a fancam - near the end of Baepsae, Jin danced off to a wing of the stage, warned and then sprayed one side of the audience with water, then turned to the other side and gave them their very own hip thrusts that sent the crowd hysterical. No wonder they drop like dead things as soon as they get off the stage. Thank you for your wonderful remarks about all the guys, individually they are brilliant performers but taken together they are incomparable.
When you mentioned other performances that are physically demanding I couldn’t help but think of Hobi at Lollapalooza! He held the stage down for an hour straight. So proud 🤘🏼

Seeing them live has truly been one of the biggest entertainment experiences of my life! I’ve seen them 5 times! So lucky! I saw this particular tour 2 times. Every performance gets better!

I’m 62 by the way and in the more than 100 live concerts I’ve seen in my life, this was by far the top experience!
They are so appreciative to their audience and perform for 2-3 hours!
I never get tired of watching all their performances over the years..I've always wondered how many hours of sleep they get the following day of their performance.
They always sing medley of songs that are very high energy, jumping and go crazy with audiences in their concert. These actions are expected from their concert and they perform for almost 2-1/2 hours.
Cool review and FYI - V was asked in an interview what his favorite song lyric was and he said Bow Wow Wow! Haha made members laugh.
A live BTS concert is fantastic 💜. I'm so glad I've been to one. After seeing Dope, Fire and Mic Drop I became a BTS fan. They're so talented.
I don't know why Army didn't talk more about jungkook he is the one who always have more lines adlibs harmonising and backing tracks and he has the best voice and the live perfomances always has amazing vocalis and he is stable even hard choreo and jumbing perfomances his voice never changes so beautiful ilove him so much and i apperciate him all the time and will never get tired for talking and prasing him he deserve all the admiration and apperciation people should admire him for his talente and hard work💯👏🌏
Suga is one of the most misunderstood persons I think. You how metal people are the kindest people you meet? Very accepting of the differences between people? Being very considerate and thoughtful ? But also loving contrasts... That's Suga maybe I think
I would say House of Cards is demanding. Not physically in terms of Choreo but vocally. It takes a lot out them, and it could explain why you can only find 1 performance of that song. The same could go for Louder than Bombs too. Army once asked Namjoon why they haven’t performed it and he said it’s was hard (although Jk’s live showed the real reason 😭). Even Crystal Snow must be hard on the vocalists, especially Jin. He does a Triple High Note in that song not even 30 seconds after doing a high note. (BTS check out these songs because I levitated hearing them for the first time)
During BTS concerts, they always start off with high energy. Then they time it down a bit and then keep it high for at least an hour before the encore. Plus they’re doing intense choreography with so many lights on them. They also have to hype up the crowd in times when there isn’t choreo. They give so much and it’s understandable to me why they’re in the verge of passing out.
Also BTS overwork themselves. They don’t let any mistake they make pass with themselves. They’re perfectionists, especially Jimin. He’s too hard on himself. There’s also an added factor of the climate and how the weather is. During the Wings tour, Jungkook passed out backstage because he pushed himself too hard and it was extremely hot. He needed oxygen and was sore.
Honestly, I’m surprised they can make it through just 1 concert without passing out with how amazing it is. It’s truly a one of a kind experience, but then you remember what happens with them backstage. I remember in concert during ptd after BTS performed So What and Idol, the girl behind me was so worried that they passed out backstage and we’re on oxygen.
This just goes to show how amazing BTS is for doing these shows and trying to give us the best experience we can get. They really make me proud to be army 💜
P.S: at the end of fire, it leaves the teaser or “Boy Meets What.” This is also at the end of the Save Me mv. It’s referring to Boy Meets Evil, the intro and a solo song of Hobi in the Wings album. This song shows how well of a performer he is
Jungkook's stability and energy is just unbelievable he is dripping in sweat but keep jumping and sound perfect 💜
They really have a lot of stamina .. they practice while singing on the threadmill , the guys give their all during concerts so sometime they really need the oxygen to go on, but in recent years I don't see them using it anymore👍 I wish upon a star that one day I could go to a BTS concert .. They showed Jungkook using an oxygen can when they performed in LA last year in their disney plus concert, so they probably still use oxygen when they need it.
@@crystalsnow1138 Yes, I think they guys have gotten better at pacing themselves. Knowing when to give it their all, and when to hold back just enough to have enough to sustain them through the concert. Even with that they need a little help, like Jungkook using some oxygen; and I think one of them had an icepack against the back of their neck, to bring down their core temperature.
But they do seem to be better at handling the demands of a concert. After all, no one wants to relive scenes like when Jungkook pushed himself too hard (I think it was in Santiago, but I could be wrong). 💜
They used the oxygen more when they toured to South America or places where the altitudes were higher.
Cant wait to see you react to jimin and yoongi performing Tony Montana (an August D song)! I think you will love Jimins voice in that.
Dope has a special place in my heart since I think I told everyone in the chat it was my intro to BTS but I LOVE how hard they go in Baepsae! That live was CRAZY too!! I can't believe I have never seen it!! And that GROWL in Jimin's voice during some of those parts?? SO GOOD!!

If you want to see another super-high-energy banger, watch them perform SO WHAT on stage. Even though the song usually shows up in the set list towards the very end of a 3-hr concert, they all dance through it like they're hooked into the freaking power grid. (Which they kind of are, except their personal power grid is named "ARMY." 😂💜)

They (BTS) likes to say that they worked at making their choreo. perfect in the beginning but now its about feeling the music, they still work to make the steps sync up but they no longer need to count the step but rather feel the beat. They would get so hyped when doing fire they almost broke the stage. They do so many songs that they go beyond their reserve point during concerts. This is just a session of which they have 4 plus an encore during their concerts. And as you could see they never let go of their energy til the end.

I really think Run is one of their best songs, they have so many.. and yes please more of their live performances its so good, especially alot of their older concerts
The juxtaposition of these 2 songs is pure genius, in my opinion.
A lot of people see Dope as a song about working hard to achieve your dreams while everyone else is "wasting" their time in clubs, and that idea is valid, but as you reach Namjoon's part in Dope, that is when it shows that the song is also actually a social commentary of how people these days HAVE to give up on "living life" just to achieve their dreams. Like, if you want to be successful, there is no time for partying. It's the sad reality of life for today's youth.
Then, as Fire starts, you see them listening to Dope but they will go on and talk about "living life" as you want it. To burn all the pressures that hold you down because what matters is being happy regardless of how society sees you (loser).
And that is the beauty of BTS' ART.

Visually, the filming is amazing....And, you'll see how their energy is the same if not more when they perform Fire, Dope, etc. You can see the maturity and growth in them! It has only gotten better! Plus, they start Dope out just walking around, but end up doing more of their dance routine than they did in your live clip from this reaction. They look young because they were young! MV was out in June 2015. BTS was 2 years old. Baby BTS. But they were so good from the very beginning!

BTS concert is something to behold. They know how to put on a show. It’s magnificent and their stamina is amazing. Such wonderful performers. I’ve been to quite numerous concerts of famous artists but it did amaze me speechless when I went to BTS concert. Epic!

Fire had just come out when I first heard of BTS & it was the first song/MV/content that I had ever been exposed to, & I was IMMEDIATELY hooked. I practically dove into the rabbit hole, haha.
I love all BTS songs, but Fire is my morning alarm to get me up for work. They wake me up almost every day so I start my day with BTS. Plus the song is totally 🔥.
BTS is truly professional and the whole package, looks, lyrics, singing, voice, dance, choreography, personality, friendship and bond, integrity, confidence, positive message, hard work, humor, energy, what else I miss??!? How can someone not love them?

2018 Idol live? they used to do the whole mfking choreo, insaaaaaaaaane!! in 2019 was crazy too but they'd do the kinda EDM version of Idol so lotta jumping during most of the song and ending it with the choreo. Live performances of 2019 So what and Anpanman also crazy.. for different reasons but they're all extremely hyped up and even if ARMYs were also super exhausted it's impossible not to go crazy with it too!

one reason I love suga so much is that sometimes shawty barely puts any effort into dancing or puts his ALL, literally heart, body, mind, and soul into dancing, he shakes his booty with so much enthusiasm when that isnt even part of the choreo

That's more 2nd half, end of the concert they usually do this! Just upbeat minimum choreo, jumping with ballons, smoke guns and pure energy!! 1st time I watched their concert I was not expecting this from them but that's just like a big party and the energy is insane! Parts where I have the most fun!

And they have VCRs and they talk A LOT😂😂😂 But I just love BTS concerts! It's unique! They'll never do the exact same show twice! There's always a slightly different set, or different outfits or change in the setlist!
I saw them in a smallish arena in Dallas for the Bulletproof Tour and they were were incredible!
The medleys are one of my favorite part of their concerts!
And "Dope" is the reason I am ARMY. First song I heard, they all look freaking amazing, and the dancing caught me right away! This song holds a very deep spot in my heart!

It's one of my seven wonders how they can sing and get hyped up so much at the same time. From where on earth do they get all the stamina?
And yes their famous crotch thrust in SILVER SPOON (or BAEPSAE) gets everyone all excited.
My favorite part about this live performance is at 25:48 (on your video), you see just how much Namjoon pays attention to all that’s going on - V starts singing and the camera is on him, but RM notices the big screen shows him in the way of V and he quickly steps aside.

Besides their great music, it’s their energy that Army are fighting for their seat concert. They always give their 200% on stage and when you watch behind the scenes they are too tired and almost collapsing. They love Army so much they make it worth every penny.
Each of their voices are epic! But that highnote of Jungkook's in Dope, grabs you on a bungi tight and let's go!
