I really want to try and make a Dungeon/Forest Synth record that takes influence from other 90s games other than RPGs - particularly something with influence from the Sonic CD Soundtrack - in this case moreso the less lauded US one as it just has that really cool kinda new-age-but-less-corny ambient feel to it. It might be a bit of an undertaking though - likely there is some Vaporwave sub/crossgenre that goes into this territory so I'll keep looking for influence. I think slapping a bunch of Korg M1, Wavestation et. all could really help with this.
I don't have anything concrete yet, but I have plans for more dungeon synth subgenres, depressive suicidal black metal, post-rock and such... Thanks for your support, by the way! I appreciate it!
@@ItsWinterProductions All sounds good. I saw you mention dino synth. Crazy to think that has become a legit subgenre. DSBM is pretty good, good potential for your humour to come through in the video. Keep it up!

For the choir voices I used Sytrus, but there are a ton of free choir aah samples that you can download. I'm also making a new ambient soundpack in which I will include stuff like this. Thanks for watching!
Could you please give me your contact address, I made the track but I can not post a link here because UA-cam deletes the post........called I am Forest, I am Earth and is under Throne for a Shaman on Soundclick. I park tracks there.
All these genre names are kinda silly and have become somewhat meaningless as far as it's usefulness. Genre was created by record companies and radio djs to control a strict selling structure and categorization. I personally love how some UA-camrs are now using mood, setting, and quality to create music comparisons and groupings that make much more sense - "Music for rainy days in the dark" "Your Running In The Forest on A Cloudy Day...at Sunset" 😊 It encourages cross"genres" and variation within playlists and begins to erode the outdated and mostly useless paradigm of "genre" all together. Because Bach sounds nothing like Beethoven...but they're both "classical"? Lol
@@GrootsieTheDog It's missing the point after that. Look after the album + its subgenre, because they go together, instead of just genre, when it's super niche.
@@GrootsieTheDog also am a bit tired of people not knowing what "objective" means and entrains. Your stance was subjective, period, putting nonsensically the objective label after that is a bullshit attempt at shielding your arguments from responses.
Personally I think that genres still serve a purpose. I have found tons of awesome new music and bands by using genre tags for searching. Works especially well on Bandcamp

Ok now plz do Ocean Synth, Mountain Synth and Suburban Synth
Thanks for the suggestions. I also have Dino Synth planned out...
forest synth is like taking shrooms in a forest and you get transported back into the medieval age of the villages
I've always had "forestwave" in my head, you created it perfectly. Fantastic job.
Thank you!
From simplicity comes magic. Just wonderful 🙏
Really liking the dungeon synth material!
Really enjoyed this how-to. It is easy to follow and has awesome examples! 🌲
Thanks!! I really appreciate it!

Thank you!
Cool video! Would you do a video on winter synth?
@@クロサワモモコ-h3i Yes! Coming next...

Nice video. I waiting for " How to Make Dark Ambient ".
Thanks. Yeah, I could make one on dark ambient...

Lol - the final product with all the fading etc. is a bit more complex. Good instruction, but really not that simple.

No. They've become a new way of expressiveness. It creates new tags and keywords that are either more nuanced or straight up funny.
@@TachyBunker When there are 50 subgenres of a single genre, then you have objectively entered into the realm of absurdity. Objectively speaking.
