Just a quick note here,, our Dad was in town and we found this knot, the only driftwood found on the beach that evening. 🪵
It’s my brothers favourite place to sit and take pictures,, it was a very special time and visit,, long overdo.. ⏳
With this Woodspirit came a poem, and it reads as this:
“Across the open ocean, he sailed by that day.
Saw the beauty of Sidney, and decided to Stay.
Worn from many battles, Mostly won,, they say,
He’s the Old Pirate protector, of Robert’s Bay.”

The twisty bits really make him unique, they were a pain to maintain but I’m happy I held my crap together and didn’t demolish them LOL 💥😆💥
