I found a very simple one yesterday: 100 g shea butter. 50 g almond oil. Melt the shea butter carefully with the double boiler method. Let it cool down until almost cold, add the almond oil and some drops of essential oil you like and stir well with a spoon or whisk. It solidifies when it gets cold but it is whether too hard nor too soft. It is nourishing but not too greasy. I am using it for my hands and feet. Next time I will also try adding some aloe very gel to make it more hydrating. Maybe it will be necessary to keep it in the fridge afterwards. I hope it helps! ;)
@@JOYCE_AVANZ I think it really depends on what your budget is or what you can afford at the moment! Hi! Is it normal for body butters to get hard again once you put them in jar? I’m kinda having a hard time making them cuz I’m assuming it should be butter soft when time to use
What I’ve learned is you have to test with small amounts first. Start with 50/50 ratio - then go from there. Carrier oil is liquid at room temp (room temp depends on the temperature of your environment) so if you put too much your mixture won’t be stable - it will look oily (if that makes sense). Also, you don’t want it to melt as soon as you touch it either. I started with 35g shea / 65g oil and it was not the consistency I wanted when I was moisturising my skin. I’m going to try again today making a small amount 50g shea / 40g oil.
Looks like she just useing shea butter here to me but u can use any butter .. looks up benefits of each and pick favs. Shea butter has a nutty smell that some people don't like tho so a good alternative is kokun or mango butter if u want it scentless but shea butter is easier to work with and cut up because it softer. If the shea butter u get I refined it will have less of a smell but less of its natural nutrients that are good for ur skin.
I'm sorry but I'm so over whipped body butters, your ripping people off!!! I only buy unwhipped butters now which was actually harder than you think to find
Carrier oils penetrate skin and hair barrier. There’s sealing and Carrier oils . Sealing oils seal in moisture like after putting leave in conditioner in hair you seal with a sealing oil .
Love it, literally looks like you could eat it. Beautiful!!!👍😍
You can, it's just shea butter and some oils

Softening the body.
Like lotion but can be more moisturizing and leaves body softer and shinier then just lotion
What kind of butter is that
Shea butter
Do you also add something like glycerin?
I would not recommend adding glycerin to the moisturiser as it can speed up aging of the skin. Use as a mask for 10-20 mins and wash off.

Yes it will get a little harder. The more hard butters, the harder it will be.

Where's the preservative?
Preservative not necessary. Just needs to be stored in a cool place
