- Jared Grimes is a quadruple threat in the world of the arts where he is heavily making his mark in singing, dancing, acting, and choreographing -- he is currently starring alongside Ramin in Funny Girl on Broadway.
Grimes has toured with Musical legend, Mariah Carey, under the choreography of Marty Kudelka, and danced for artists such as Common, Salt-n-Pepa, Envogue, Busta Rhymes and the Roots.
Jared's theater performance credits include, "A Soldiers Play on Broadway" directed by Kenny Leon, "The Radio City Spring Spectacular" directed by Warren Carlyle, "After Midnight on Broadway", directed by Warren Carlyle, "Twist", directed by Debbie Allen, "Babes in Arms" at the Goodspeed Opera House choreographed by Randy Skinner, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" directed by John Rando at (Encores) and Broadway Underground directed by himself.
His television acting credits include Netflix's Manifest, Fox's "Fringe" and HBO's "Boardwalk Empire".
His feature film credits include, Paramount's, "The Marc Pease Experience", starring Ben Stiller, New Line Cinema's "Little Manhattan" and Elevation Filmwork's' "First Born," starring Elizabeth Shue. Recently Grimes choreographed "Ain't Misbehaving" at the Signature Theatre in DC and Lights Out: Nat King Cole at the Geffen Theatre in LA. Currently you can catch Grimes playing the role of Adrian Shannon on NBC's Manifest!

Another great interview. I like to travel the same way Jared does! When he was talking about dancing and being able to levitate himself in a way, I was reminded of a video I saw the other night here on UA-cam of Bob Fosse, Bobby Van, Debbie Reynolds and Barbara Ruick doing a dance number. Fosse lifted himself in the air and shimmied his hips two or three times before coming down to continue the dance. It takes a special kind of dancer to create such amazing moves so seemingly effortlessly. As Ramin said early on about Jared: I have two feet. He has two feet. Hope your ankle is completely recovered. Big difference starting dancing at 44 instead of 6.
