I bet that fish tasted good, right out of the lake. This is the kind of trip I love. You keep improving the campsite and by the end of the five days you dont want to leave it. Peace.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. we where all sad to leave our camp behind. However by the end of it some modern amenities sounded nice... thanks for watching!
You guys are the GREATEST! I love watching you guys hang with each other! You guys seem like such great friends! It's really refreshing to see four young men enjoy the simple things together. Thx for sharing, can't wait for the rest!
I woke-up to a great fishing vid 🐟 I bet you 4 were psyched to get out for a few days after the end of school! Beautiful country & scenery. The steaks cooked-up nicely. Lake trout is my favourite taste of fish; I know it tasted amazing. Looking forward to part2 👍
Guys this is an epic film, truly epic. Watching this on the other side of the world but you made me feel like I was right there with you guys. Your team work is awesome, your organised camp is amazing. You have come so far since you started, Dave Canterbury will be watching you for tips next! Really looking forward to part two, but thank you all for taking me on a trip I could never make 👍👍👍
Yeah. In our next video/video series we are planning on making a permanent bushcraft camp. There we will be doing some sort of channel update taking about what is to come. We could also get a Q&A going as well. If you have any questions that you think would be best answered in a Q&A format we would love to hear them!
@@bushbrosoutdoors2612 Like other vlogs I follow, I just think for Q&A's viewers want to know you guys and then the areas you bushcraft at, and the type/brands of equipment you use. That would make a good start 👍
If you are in the BWCA. You should be using designated camp sites. Leave no trace behind. Absolutely no reason to be pulling out brush along the shore. They stabilize what little soil there is. In 40 years of trips we have never used an ax or knife. Only bad things can happen. We took our 20 year old nephew on a trip. Our canoes shifted on the van near Virginia. We got out to re-tie. My nephew pulled out his knife and promptly cut his finger. Accidents are called accidents for a reason. Hopefully only positive comments to come
Love the channel and love all the videos you guys have made. I was curious as to the local laws to follow when making a camp on the lake where you were at? Only cut dead standing trees? Make camp where you find a spot? Etc
Yeah, so where ever we camp, doesn’t matter where it is, we only take dead or downed trees. That way we can minimize our impact so someone else can enjoy it like we did. As far as location we stayed on National Forest land which allow dispersed camping. Hope that answers your questions. Thanks for watching!
Hey guys! First! Really liked this video. You guys were up in my area. What lake were you on? Looks like maybe Kimball?? Can't wait to see the rest of your trip. Fishing has been good on Leo for Trout. Wife and I cooked up a nice meal night before last. We live up here full time so we have our favorite lakes. Were any of you guys in Boy Scouts? Kind of looks like a scout camp set up. Take care, so glad to see young people enjoy the outdoors!!
Hey Lindsay I’m glad you enjoyed the video! The lake was Moss lake and none of us are/where boy scouts. What a beautiful place to live, And the fishing right out your door! That’s awesome! Thanks for watching
Though it's posted in 2020, was this filmed another year? You look younger. And in earlier videos older. I can't believe you're only sophomores. That would put you at 15 or 16. But to be driving alone you'd have to be 16. Am I as confused as I sound?😵
We are all 16 except for Otto who is 15. Hugh, Austin and Mason just fished their sophomore year and Otto his freshman. In the video we didn’t dive into this for simplicity sake.
@@bushbrosoutdoors2612 thanks! Even though I'm subscribed I haven't received all notifications. But found some more of your recent vids. I guess I hadn't seen you for awhile, and remembered you looking older! I'm a Minnesotan and love watching the beauty of the state.(counteracting all the ugliness lately!)
That ending was like Survivor!
Next week on Bush Bros.
How awesome was that!

I'm not sure how no missed this one. You boys sure have come a long way. Awesome shelter and beds. The cooking skills are great.
Our skills have been improving each vid. Especially our cooking ones (if you remember our first hot tent trip).
This was possibly my favorite video from you guys. The enthusiasm you have for the outdoors is incredible. Can’t wait for the part 2!
Love it! Thanks Ryan!

So: Your videos have progressed lots! Don't you think it's time for a Q&A?
