Can we just take a moment and appreciate that you showed a house that looks real on UA-cam! Thank you!!! I’m kinda sick of seeing absolutely too perfect homes making me like dang these folks must wake at 3:30 am to have a house that “Better Homes and Gardens” ready by 7am 😳😔

Totally, I feel better just to see I am not alone with the problem. The other thing which "got me going" is when they clean the already super clean houses and surfaces and stating: Sorry guys, it is such a mess. #whaaaat :)

I would love to see you sit down and walk-through/explain your weekly planning routine, if you haven't already done a video on that. (Do you start with goals, priorities, reviewing the last week?) Also, I'd love to see you break down your general weekly "flow" ie: Planning day, family day, laundry day, grocery day, cleaning day, etc.

God’s gift to my mother was organization, boundless energy, and the need to accomplish. I felt that she rarely had time “to just be with me”. She was always doing. She did not listen well to her pain and her later years her pain ridden. Her joints and bones just gave out. She also had many children.
In this video, you mentioned pain twice. Having watched many of your videos, you share but for you to say pain twice, I think you should listen to yourself and practice “loving, self-care” for you and your babies, both born and especially those along for the ride, your unborn. I truly care and I am not judging just listening

    • @isa0305
      @isa0305 4 роки тому +13

I think that's because she's pregnant with twins. That must hurt a lot, especially when you have other children who need attention as well. Thank God she has people around to help her!
And she did talked about relaxing and how important that is to her. I love the part when she said she could listen to some podcast but instead she decided to talk and interact with the children. That shows what productivity really is. What a accomplishment that is!
But I get what you're talking about, bc my mom is exactly like yours! She's only dealing with her health now, so that's a warning for us. I get that.

I want a big family too. I often think that having a big family is chaotic and I won't have enough time but as the children get older and children love to help, they will and want to help with the younger ones. So by the time you have your 4 child or more you have little mini helpers.
      Love big families ❤️

My favourite part of the video was when you and Bubba were catching up together on the couch. Jordan, u and I are very alike. A natural gift of organizing and making things fit into place. Do you ever feel like each day is a rush around or do you feel that you are getting to stop and enjoy the sweet moments of life. It may be that videos are so condensed and sped up its hard to see you sitting and soaking in the sweet moments of your life. I hope you are being pampered with those twins on board. I pray God helps u thru this twin pregnancy and we have some healthy little babes. U are blessed and gifted. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

Productivity tip: your husband/partner can and should be putting in some work to maintain the household. learn to hand off a few chores: he can hang the washing or load the machine. He can unpack the dishwasher (since they can't pack it... Properly 😋) learning to let go of some of these chores we put on ourselves will make you happier and you can spend more time with your partner and not resent them cause you're working and they're sitting. 😊

This is almost too terrible to mention, but if it helps one..... 3 years ago my then 22 year old son was working out of state and we got a call at 11 pm that changed our world. He worked night shift and on the way to work was in a terrible accident and we had to drop everything and drive 5 hours to the hospital where he was. We spent a week in the trauma unit. Now I was one of those people that put things off right down to I will "wash my hair tomorrow", the dishes, the laundry, packing for work, bathing the dogs, etc (not knowing that due to staying in the hospital with him for a week, someone or several someone's would have to come into my home eeeeek go through my drawers and find clothing and toiletries to send to me and my family. Trying to tell someone to go through 5 sizes in my closet to send me things that I needed was rough. People generally think their life will just go smoothly, but there are unplanned bumps in the road for everyone and when you least expect it. So now when I think about procrastinating, I think about that night and how well planned do I wanna be if my world should change all of a sudden. Fear and regret can be a good motivator.

It was an eye opener. I would love to see how you use those 2 dry erase calendars in your kitchen, homework time for kids (when do you do it, right when they get home?), and day in the life of kids (I'm not sure if i'm balancing homework, play, social, electronics, relax time well enough for them). My advice for all mothers and families...have a cleaner/maid come even every other week. It saves SO MANY UNNECESSARY ARGUMENTS and stress! Find someone and pay them 12-20$ an hour depending where you are, for a few hours and it’s the best money you will ever spend! It also stops it from becoming so overwhelming when things pile up....they can deep clean too so you can manage day to day. That’s my best advice from being a mom going on 18 years.

I love that idea. I've been a mom for only (almost) 4 years and it would be tough for me to do that. I don't feel like other people clean the 'right' way or the way that I like. Maybe I just need to chill out and let it go. LOL

It sure is chaotic with a newborn! It's always tough to plan then. The first few months are usually more about baby!

So many helpful tips. I came from a large family. I’m the youngest of seven. Almost eight but the last baby was still born.
Congrats on the twins!!! Beautiful family!

I talk about Jordan and Bubba like my next door besties. Lol...yes my hubs knows I'm crazy. He doesn't always like to watch the videos. But I know he would enjoy the GE products and setting it up to his phone. So, I sent him the video and pointed out where he should start the video and watch. Thanks Jordan and Bubba.

I have been hooked on your videos. I love them. I find it funny cause a lot of the things that you do I have been doing for years. I just recently became a single mom and have realized how wrong things were cause my ex would get so mad at me for trying to have some organization in our lives, especially for our kids. I hope someday I meet someone that I can be productive in life with. Thanks for the great videos!!

I have a 3 drawer cart that is labeled Monday through Saturday (each drawer holds 2 days) that I use for my boys’ clothing for the week. I lay it out on Sunday afternoons for the week, so much easier in the mornings before school!
I also make a week’s worth of school lunches on Sundays (or at least plan them out) for each child. Both of these tips make for smoother mornings here!

I have 4 kids ages 20,13, the last 2 are twins also! We only had what we really needed for the twin's arrival. They shared the crib until 10 months old. We had a double Arms Reach Co-Sleeper bassinet to playpen (holds more weight than the other brands) that we kept in the living room for naps. That way noise and light didn't keep them from napping. This is the first youtube video of you I have watched. Previously, I have watched your segment on a morning show. I am surprised by some of the same time hacks we use. I need to rewrite more challenging chore lists. I keep mine in a plastic pocket so the child can check it off and I can change them out. I'm fighting 3Neg. Breast Cancer and my kids routines, behavior, and the house never really getting clean is stressful. I delegate, but get pushback.

Thank you for all of the tips! You are one of my favorite you tube families!!!
What do i do to keep my families house tidy(or somewhat😂)? Both of my kids are in school between 12:20 -2:45 so i use the time they are there to power clean. Wipe down surfaces, load the dishwasher with morning dishes and lunch dishes(we have a kindergartener and a preschooler) and clean the potties. We have good systems in place for other parts of the day too. My husband is great keeping up with his zones which really helps! Nothing is perfect and things do happen sonetimes to throw it off track.
Hope you are all doing well!
