    How could I go about finding the force in one of the links being driven?

      You can obtain the reaction force on the other link through 2 approaches.
      The first one is to utilize bushings. you can define the mates on the links as bushings. It distributes the reaction forces between the mates. But this approach requires a good assumption regarding stiffness values of the mates. Another approach is to idealize the situation and divide the reaction force to the number of links. you should be careful about if your assumption is true.

    Hi,
    I am working on similar project like boom crane. But I am getting increasing plot of force instead.

      Hi, You should be careful about mates. Unfortunately, the way we create mates in our daily routines are mostly usless as to motion analysis. In fact, it is a long story. But, shortly, I can tell you avoid redundancy.
