    Insightful! Thanks a lot for posting... Reading these fellows is quite dangerous. First, you will make sweeping generalizations of people and events and be prone to dismissing any empirical evidence that may contradict your own views. Second, even if you happen to employ their views in a more "truthful" manner, you'll be in the existential shits because you now know that most of the people you know (including yourself) are constantly out deceiving others and themselves.

    Is there any worse avatar for Nietzsche than Leiter? He is the anti-Nietzsche. He also doesn't seem to understand Popper's criticism of marxism.

      No, Eric Steinhart is worse. Leiter isn't that bad. Pretty good.

      Or maybe you're speaking as a Platonist, as Popper admitted in disappointment that he himself seemed just like a reformed neo-Platonist. In addition, nowhere in this talk did he talk about Popper. So that point is irrelevant.
