stopped hunting two years back as wife and I got COVID really bad in the August of 2021.... I just barely survived my battle and she unfortunately past within the first 2 weeks of getting ill... unfortunately covid left me with a string of new health issues including a heartbeat condition that in 2022 caused a stroke and though I have recovered pretty well just everything with the health issues and losing my wife of almost 40 years just took all the joy of life out me but I will say watching y'all out here as a family fill'n feeders, clearing roads, and moving as a family sure brings a sense of enjoyment to my eyes and a burst of great memories flood'n my head.... Hope y'all have a great hog, deer, and turkey season... God Bless brother... and thank you for sharing.....

Yep… That’s why I said no thank you to dad when he wanted to “set up an agreement” for the siblings to co-own the family property. Only way to “save” the family is to subdivide the property and give the smallest, or least habitable, to the ones who tried to steal from the rest. May sound mean, but “they” weren’t concerned with anyone else’s anything when they pull that mess.

With you being a black family and in the South, it would be interesting to know the history of your family and the land. So many black families and farmers have lost land over the last 125+ years its good to see a family that has some land. I hope everything works out and its peaceful and their is a way you can keep or all profit from the land.

Man, it is great to see three generations at the deer camp, we need to get the youngsters more involved and out in the woods for sure. Sorry to see the family issues, that happens though, and with land involved sometimes people get crazy, hate it that you have to get lawyers involved too. You are handling your business though and sometimes that is all we can do. Just pickup from where we are and play the cards we get dealt. Enjoy every day with Pops and the kids, get them in the woods every chance you get. I am a red dirt man myself and makes me proud to see yall getting it done

Mr CnB , you just made my day . A few years back we had a guy in our hunting club , tried to do what your cuz did . He put up Gates and cables around deer stands because he didn't want no one hunting near him . We all helped built stands and put them up , for everyone to have access to them . Of course you know his results were the same as yours . You reminded me of my two buddies when you were asking Jerrell and your dad , did they know who cut the fence posts down and the wire and Gates . We were the same way . Love your videos and the fellowship y'all do at the club . Reminds me and my guys . If you're ever in Georgia , look me up . Be Blessed !

Hey Bossman! We (meaning my beautiful black people) just gotta start getting life insurance policies and a will!!
When my grandfather died, he left a house, a car, a truck, a small boat, about 70 acres in the country, about $75,00 cash, a life insurance policy and 5 children who had to work together to spilt his property.
One thought he was rich and wanted all the money! Thank God all my uncles and aunts have their own sh*t and wasn’t interested in fighting over my grandfather’s stuff! They all asked my mom to divide everything and she did it fairly and peacefully!
But all that could have been squashed had my grandfather have a WILL!!!!

We went through this very thing when my Mother passed away, my Father had passed years earlier. They both truly believed in insurance, as there were many tragedies in our family, they lost three of their 21 children early. They kept themselves and their children our home, you name it heavily insured. I do the same with my children and myself. Unfortunately my Mother put off getting a will, until it was too late, and it created total chaos 😔, and devastated our family. Since I was 19 years old I’ve had life insurance, and I’m pushing 60. Insurance and a Will are of the upmost importance, for those you leave behind, and to establish your wishes are followed.

I am glad to see you got a lawyer to represent you. My aunts and uncles sat by idly as my grandfathers orchard, steamengine tractors, cider press, barns, conveyor system, hoouse and multiple outbuildings all got taken out from uunder them due to apathy and ignorance. It made me ill to find out this happened when i was a very young boy. I can remember some great things about my grandad. Thats what he gave to me.

I save the strings off the feed bags for scent drags. The cotton is biodegradable so after I drag the scent, I just hang it in a tree.

That’s a let down when stuff like that gets between people in the family. It happens too often, and I’ve always tried to avoid joint ownership of things like that. My best friend just went through it with a family hunt camp, and thankfully he took good advice and extracted himself from the situation.
Do what you can to extricate yourself. Buy him out , or sell it on the open market, and split the proceeds. (and then quietly buy it back).
Lawyers are expensive, but it’s the best way to find a solution.
