I remember the first time I listened to this song a friend of mine played just the first 3 seconds and I had this feeling I had never experienced before, which I could not even describe today. I was 10 years old, and yet felt such deep connection without even knowing the meaning of it. I still feel that deep rooted connection every time I listen to it and no matter how many times I do, every time there’s something new I get to learn from it. To this date is still my favorite song of all time.

Totally different kind of music. Dave is obviously a sick guitarist and riff-monster but that in no way negates the quality of John's riff in this song.
