Practice.... I'm weird in that when I miss a shot I remember the input pretty quickly. So I'll keep doing it over and over trying to see if the shot is markable. This year there are a bunch of shots just like the above where is looks contested. But usually I keep doing it over and over looking for the visual que.
What direction do use to get that animation shot?
LS towards the defender. You can keep doing it over and over in practice. Give it a try.
