In a world gone mad this provides pure delight escapism that both soothes and entertains. Thanks so much for such a well written, imaginative fun tale! ❤
Marvellous, really enjoyable & the characterisations were brilliant, if possible Mr Collins was even more insufferable than usual, Wickham is a mountebank but Darcy, Elizabeth, Jane, Bingley & all the others were described too perfection. I love the narrator, he’s perfect for the job. Many thanks xxxx
Deanna, your prompt alert was key to fixing the video. Thank you! I'm glad to hear that this story brought a smile. Wickham now knows that old girls with a parasol in hand are a force to be reckoned with! 😄
Another excellent book Laura. I love how you are authentic in quoting Bible verses as would have been commonplace in that era. My favourite scene was the Bow street runner calming down a very brave Georgiana. And I like the added touch of Lady Lavinia and Lady Catherine hitting Wickham with a parasol. Benjamin thank you for your excellent singing and for all those tricky female falsettos. Well done!
Ha, Cathy, good point. 😄 Never underestimate the power of old girls wielding umbrellas! Thanks for listening! Let's see, Collins suffering . . . "Step Lively, Mr. Darcy" has some dandy consequences.
Speaking of Collins, if you’d like to see Charlotte end up with a better husband than that worm, read Laura’s book “So this is Love”. My favorite by far!
So glad to see you putting out audio books. I enjoy them and this one is starting off very well. I am anticipating the rest of this book, and will also devour the others.
JPR, it's a gamble, the trek toward monetization, but I LOVE being able to offer my audiobooks to UA-camrs. Thanks for the kind encouragement! Happy listening!
How does Laura Hile come up with these plot twists?! Well-written, clever twists, and (spoiler alert) Mary get to also have an admirer (yay!) Includes nice closure for the listener because of an epilogue at the end. Benjamin Fife is the voice actor and, as per usual, he does a wonderful job. Include the fact that he has to sing and does it well and it's easy to see why Laura Hile has him voice act her audiobooks!
Kathy, thanks for the smiles. I'm happy to learn that you enjoyed this one. Wickham's desperation was too much fun -- and so were the "old girls" who gave him his due. 😄
Oh, Connie, I'm so glad you enjoyed this fun romp. Thanks for listening! I have two more audiobooks in production, with two to come after that. So, "stay tuned" as the old time television shows used to say!
No one can beat Jane Austen’s work but this would have been quite the interesting turn of events. Still, my favorite of your works will always be “So this is love” as poor Charlotte deserved a far better fate.
@@LauraHileAudiobooks thank you so much for your warm and kind reply and for posting your amazing audiobooks on youtube cant wait to listen another of your amazing books best wishes to you and your family good luck

Hi, Sojourner,
I love escapist stories too -- which is why I write them. I only wish I could write faster. :D
Thanks for listening!
@@LauraHileAudiobooks Most welcome, Lady Hile❤
Wonderful book and Benjamin Fife is a consummate storyteller. The reader makes a huge difference to the story. Thank you!
You are very welcome, Dorothy. I'm glad you enjoyed Benny Fife's performance. This was a fun story to write.
This has been a joy to listen to. What a gift to your readers. Thank you so much, Laura.
Michelle, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I had way too much fun writing this story. 😄
I love your books and you sharing them in audio format is truly a gift! Thank you soooo much!
Love this story.
I'm glad you enjoyed this story, Maridith. These days, a take-me-away story is just what most of us need.
3rd time I'm listening to your available books. I always pick something up i missed before. Thank you.
Aw, mjp, the best compliment to an author is the reread / re-listen. Thank you! 🌹
Yes thank you so much for uploading this audio book. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Noma, how kind you are to encourage me. Thanks for listening!

It sounds like you enjoyed listening to this as much as I enjoyed writing it. 😄 Thanks for the props, Lynda.

You are very welcome, datSCboi. 🙂
Good story
I'd love to see old Collins get what's coming to him in the end.
I think he needed a few strikes from the umbrella and more.

Thanks for listening, Karen.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
THIS is the one you want to listen to. It has only one Chapter 23, not two.
Sorry about that. I can learn new skills!
This is very good; it would make an excellent film.
Wouldn't that be fun? Old girls wielding a parasol are trouble! 😀Thanks for listening.

I must agree about Charlotte's alternate story. So this is love is the best book since Jane Austin.
Love how the narrator sound like the 1995 P&P Mr. Collins.
Benny Fife had a good time voicing this. Thanks for listening!
😊😊😊excellent! And you sing very well Ben!!😅😅 good hearing sense

Excellent book
Australia! How funny.
Trust Wickham to envision building a dynasty.
If he lives. 😀
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed this Book,, thank you. But please leave Captain Wentwort alone, but only for Anne Elliot😮😅😊
Oh, I agree.
Captain Wentworth would give no quarter to silly Lydia.
Thanks for listening.
