Same here😢. I miss her everyday. Both me and her even share the same first names "Nomathemba". I remember her calling out my name, I went to her and kneeled on my knees and held her hands tightly. She told me how much she loved me and 2 days after that she passed on. I miss her everyday. She was a quiet and very gentle soul. I still can't believe it to this day. Man this song takes me back to that scene nje because she called me "mtanam".😭😭😭

Discovered this song yesterday while i was playing on spotify, this is pure majic. The voice is complete, thank you Chubby cheeks but i'm mad since it doesn't take long. I miss my grandmother, she was a mother to me. I grew up living with her, used to see my mother for three days a month. She passed on last year Feb, still hard for me to accept it. I no longer go home due to the pain i feel whenever i'm home. I'm grateful
Thank you for such a wonderful song, at this point if my life i am very grateful for everything and everyone, this song just became my theme for life kuyabongwa indeed, small or big wins one should always be thankful.
❤❤😢😊this song makes me emotional at the same time happy to the fact that I have been through thick and thin.. thoughts are what we are..let's appreciate what we have daily ❤
My mom said this about three months ago and when i heard this song i just had flashbacks of that moment when she said (Mfana bulela lena unayo ngoba abanye abantu abanayo).
I wish my parents would say this to me just once, you know? To appreciate and be satisfied with what I have now and be patient with life and myself, to take things slow and bask in this moment, to be happy now but they're always pushing me to do more, get more, push more, nothing is ever enough if I'm not aspiring for more. I got this degree they've always pushed me towards, while I was in ICU for covid, failed the semester and got mega tongue lash, I repeat and got a Rheumatoid diagnosis, I couldnt walk, but push to get to campus and attend lectures. I got initiated and abused by many many traditional healers but i still pushed to be the best at home and school and in between I had to work. Not once did anyone say "take a breather momma, look at what you've done, you've achieved sooo much, well done, take a moment and be grateful for what you have now.".... it's always on to the next thing, next project, next assignment, next, next, next, next. I'm sooo tired. Be grateful for your mom.
