Hi! I have been noticing a lot of people combing or cutting their locs, no shade or hate from me but I’m with you, I don’t have any plans on getting rid of my 3 almost 4 year microlocs anytime soon. Your hair is always beautiful. Keep the videos coming. 😊❤
I have my hair in this style now and ready to take them done soon, maybe even today! Thanks for the motivation! Your length is GOALS! But I am really close tho. 10 years in Feb.
I was just cheesing hard at the clips after washing your hair😌 I love locs soooo much. Ive been wearing faux locs for a minute... but now Im really considering locing my natural hair. Just not sure if I want them like your style or semi free-form.. nonetheless you've inspired me to go ahead. I get too happy about locs, that's probably a sign to start them 💙 Thanks for sharing!
Hi girlie…I wanted to say that I really enjoy watching ur videos. U really came a long way with the growth of ur hair congrats to u 😊. I wanted to know if you could provide a video of what products you are using in your hair meaning shampoos, conditioners etc. do you use Dr. Bronners? What you use to moisturize ur locs? I had cancer twice but the second time I had to have chemo and was disappointed child when my hair came out I was loving the length. I was told it’s just hair it’s going to grow back. But one thing I have appreciated was having thick hair. But anyway I had to start over it’s now a year and I can tell that the texture is different more looser and my hair is not as thick as it was b4 and it grew a lot it’s not at the length that I had but I’m happy with the progress. So I was just curious wanting to know what other products you using. Also this is probably personal and I respect that because I know you are a private person and I may be saying this wrong but since you are in the military have u ever gave thought of incorporating how you keep ur relationship going whenever you away for so long. Do he come see u or maybe have date nights on zoom etc. not sexual not asking that no ma’am lol.😊
Hey there. I will definitely include my products in the next loc vlog. I'm not consistent with shampoos and conditioners, I just use whats available lol. I only use water for moisture and I seal it with my own blend of oils (formally known as Elaine Essentials before I closed my business). Wow, you're a survivor! I'm glad your hair is growing back and maybe you'll start to love the new texture. I don't talk much about my relationship publicly because it means the world to me and I never want to compromise my family in anyway. I don't mind that you ask and I'll say communication is our number one tool. I know that's kind of vague but its the cornerstone of our relationship and we do a great job at prioritizing that. Thanks so much for watching!
Rebekah, your hair is so pretty. I watched you install ,; you along with a few others convinced me to install them too. I see you’re not interlocking. Yet, you keep your style for 5-6 weeks in the bob? I am going to try the bob. Twist first and then wrap upwards in twist direction. And don’t lock edges. Sounds like a good strategy. Seems like the twists help keep the hairs in their designated locks. My hair is soft and gets frizzy. I wish there was another type of rubber band that didn’t show. I am salt and pepper. I like that you posted the video date, unless you cannot sometimes. I understand. Stay safe and looking forward to the next time.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video, the bob is definitely my go to style and stays for at least 4 weeks out of pure convenience. I don’t interlock as often these days but I did for my first 2-3 years because my hair was also pretty soft and wouldn’t lock. I wonder if clear rubber bands will work well for you?
@@RebekahElaine Thanks for responding with advice, dear. Those clear rubber bands are not so rubbery like the black ones. There’s a guy’ s channel called, Ace, he’s wearing your bob style, looks so nice and neat on him now, compared to before. I love yours. I tried the knotty loc method on a few locs and ruined them. I think the bob might help hide the imperfections in that patch. Got to also figure out how many locks to put in one swirl. I’m gonna try and let you know how it comes out. Stay safe dear.
Thank you! Yes, I’ve had lint and still do but it’s pretty minimal and because I wear my hair styled 90% of the time, I don’t notice it. Same thing with my hair edges pulling- I experience that when I wear buns or ponytails a lot but since I’m often wearing a bob, it’s not an issue.
Hey thanks so much! The song is called Intractable by Kevin MacLeod- I found it here on UA-cam. And I can totally get why it reminds you of Boobdocks lol!
Girl your locs are sooooo long and beautiful! I know you’ll be glad when you don’t have to wear buns and bobs all the time because of military dress codes.

Beautiful locs 😍do you ever struggle with lint or your edges pulling? I love having my hair up so I’m worried over time
