Greasing the Screws

Over time, the screws on the outside of your machine will get wet. It is inevitable. This can lead to hard water build up, and rust which can make them very difficult to remove. To save yourself some pain down the road we have learned that it is a great idea to add a bit of grease to the threads of the screws of your machine. The main screws we recommend greasing are the white thumb screws, the blade adjustment knob, and the ice block holder crank screw.
