    I have been taking spirulina since the late 70s. New health food store opened and the lady had been to Mexico and brought a 55 gallon drum of spirulina back with her. she was selling it in sandwich bags. I have been using it ever since then. Right now I'm going to do another fast using spirulina and chlorella. should get in a 10 day before Christmas Day in 2 weeks. Maybe I'll come back here and let you all know how it goes. I have done more than 50 fasts since the 70s, some 5 days and some 21 days, haven't always used spirulina but is has worked out just fine for me. I am 72 YO now and can go all day on a bicycle (100 miles in the mountains) on just spirulina and chia seeds, and still have energy let at the end of the day. If you try it you do have to build up on the amount. I use 2 t-spoons spirulina and 1 t-spoon chlorella in a glass of water,I sometimes will have a Table spoon of organic Cider vinegar in the mix too. Never been a down side taking it, but that is me some people react different to new stuff.

      I've had good and bad experience with it. The last time I had it it really irritated my digestive system so I haven't had it since. Before that though I've had good experience so idk.

      Take 8greens I take A multivitamin Green apple gummy 8 greens, turmeric chews and ,Super beats chews. 8 greens has wheat grass Blue green algae aloe vera Kale spinach Spirulna chlorella barley grass. So I don’t need to take workout powder. That what I take. I suggest you look up 8 greens Super beats. The same people who make Super beets make Turmeric chews. You can buy them on Amazon. So I take what just as good as workout protein and pre-workout crap.

    I just saw a video pseudo b12 in spirulina. This can compete with real b12 from other sources to enter the cell.
    Kinda scared to consume spirulina now.

      From what i’ve seen Chlorella is overall healthier and safer than spirulina anyway

      Saw the same one, have the same concerns. Maybe we can use the Greene’s to detox every now and then an keep our B12 up otherwise. A trade off so to speak. Give up some Good B12 absorption for a detox🧐🧐

    Hi there. Acai Berry vs Spirulina, which one is no1 for the 3rd eye? My 3rd eye is already open but i can see just small images in fraction of second. I can not see something for a long time. I want to become a super clairvoyant. So which one is better? Spirulina is to bad but I am mixing with garlic powder + Apple cider vinegar + dillweed + parsley. 1kg spirulina powder finish in 3 months but 250gr akai berry finish in 3 days. I like the akai. Thanks to anyone who can give me a good answer.

    In the past I had a mild reaction to spirulina -triggered my urticaria. Just wondering your thoughts about trying chlorella. They seem very similar.

      I'm no expert but your body is full of heavy metals and I think chlorrella pulls them all out which can make you feel nauseas when you first start taking it.

    You forget to mention that even though you can utilize more protein from spirulina, the cost is exponentially higher per gram of protein.

      Combine spirulina and chlorella.. nutrex spirulina is one of the best brand spirulina.. and sun chlorella is one of the best in the world for chlorella.. I dont know about Ibs but it really good for me.. God bless you and your family
