CLARIFICATION
After the battle Elmo, Kermit, and Pibby retreat back to homebase.
Fozzie is left to rot within the corruption, Kermit killed everyone else.
Big bird, being the last victim is now the leader of the corrupted Sesame Street gang.
During while Kermit is getting corrupted, the darkness took away his banjo so he couldn’t do anything.
