That was an awesome video, probably one of my favorites of yours so far. I just recently bought an 18 foot center consul to fish around Destin because I’m stationed at Eglin AFB and I’m super excited to catch my first big Redfish this winter thanks to your tips and videos. God Bless And I will keep Pensacola in my prayers

Hey Brant, Thanks for the reply last week. I'm still seeing the same thing here in Louisiana while travelling. I been catching 22"-24" consistently all day in my kayak around Venice, Buras Triump, Delacroix, and Gulf Port. The water has been between 50-60 and they have been ambushing the marsh areas for the past Month+. Most everyone else around here has been targeting the Sea Trout and there ARE literally thousands brought to the docks each day from boaters. While these guys have been focusing and fishing the channels and mouths, i have been hiding inside the marshes and catching within 100ft of their view, but i since the kayak is lower view and i net the fish away from most views - it's funny to know I'm slaying them ALL day with little effort. Anyways, I'm loving your channel man! and sincerely happy for you getting that new boat. Of course we know it's natural instinct to share what is good and going well, but within a reasonable measure let us know what features you would change/improve on the boat too. Keep up the great work.

Great video Brant, good info. We see the same thing on freshwater especially when fishing white bass, hybrids, or stripers. During my tournament days I've had other competitors run up and cast across my line when fishing a drop or spot. NUTS!!!!!

I have fished for 50 years or so, and you are so right on.So many have lost perspective and are careless and actually dangerous.Your comments were absolutely overdue.Probably will not help or these people would already be considerate. But somebody needs to begin screaming, as it spoils it for all decent people.

that looked nuts...waves fast driving.....crazy. I fish on Ky Lake, been doing it for years. You'd be surprised how many will drive by wot 40-50 yards away . Wears me out. I always try to at least swing out to around 100 yards, most times more, just takes a few more seconds on your run. But that mess you were in was ridiculous.

It’s the same story up in the northeast. Here in Jersey, the stripers run in the fall and are everywhere. When the birds start working everybody goes right into the middle of them. All you need to do is stay in one spot after the birds disappear and there will still be fish under the boat. That’s why I like weekdays because there is like nobody out in the water and you can sit on birds and they won’t go anywhere where there is 2 or 3 boats on them

We kept a pole with 80 pound line and a pike bobber for guys who would cut across trolling lines.
Let them take all the line cut from pole .then watch them get towed in there would be 20 boats trolling same area and one guy cut across pattern making people reel in and reset

It's just like when you go walking out on small Pier at night and not catching a fish under a light when you see the fish if you stomp out on the pier you not going to catch no fish if you stand on the bank or tiptoe out on a pier you'll catch some fish but like you said if you run over to school to fish with your motor they're not going to bite you got a float over them or cast to them be a little more gentle with them plus you got to have some etiquette on fishing around a bunch of people and I have found older I get the less etiquette people have. That is one reason I have quit fishing the piers people have no etiquette no manners at all.
