I think the easy part is getting to know your settings. Once you have figured that part out I think the hardest part really is the composition esp for landscapes. Colin,
Wow, that was great! Here I am brand new into everything. I just purchased a Sony A7 IV full frame mirrorless camera. I'm starting a beginners photography coarse next week. I've been watching video after video for about 6 month's trying to learn as much as I can before I even start my 1st class because I know that hands on experience will benefit me the most. Taking pictures or video's is just the tip of the iceberg. You're right about going into it thinking that it's going to be hard and not easy. Thanks for sharing!
@@ZettelPhotographyYes, it is my first mirrorless. I also have an older canon vixia for video only, so I’m looking forward to moving up to the world of mirrorless cameras. Thanks for your response…Subscribe for sure!
Hi! I’m a wedding videographer but I really enjoy photography and want to get into wedding photography and family portraits. I love both video and photo but I know it’s important to niche down so to not appear too general. Do you think I could do both or should I stick with one area and go all in? Thanks for the great video! New subscriber!
Oh HEY! Thanks for following along! I love this question! Having the skills of doing both will open up more opportunities to you, but niching down into one area of style (weddings/people) will allow for you to be known for something and someone people think of when opportunities arise. I don't think in this case you should have to pick just one if you love both! Doing things you love, that inspire you and allow yourself to get creative is going to keep your drive to keep doing it and getting better. If you choose one, you may lose motivation and inspiration trying to fit yourself into one box. Remember, you are the niche!! ☺

Totally agree! Learning settings is def one of the first hurtle's and it's a roller coaster after that lol!!
