What is your favourite holiday flavour? Are you a peppermint fan too? Or more gingerbread? Let me know!
Nanaimo bars aren’t really a flavour… but I LOVE THEM 😉
hehe they're one of my favourites too! Guess that's why we are so similar 😉♥️
i agree with everthing you said. Heres how we make our peppermint paddies its a lot simpler. first you go down to the dollar store the dollar general or the dollar tree. We have the dollar general at our town. go in ther and buy you a lot of the jumbo tubes of peppermint tastin toothpast. Then you put them in the freezer until theyre hard and then cut them into slices. you can punch out the insides and thro away the casings. Then you just cover the rounds with melted chocolate and put them back into the freezer until your gran childern come over, They love em. And it nice to know that it wont rot they teeth like other candy will. And my grandchildern has the cleanest teeth.
Im going to try this sounds so good
Oh great! Let me know how you like them. They are pretty delicious if I do say so myself ☺️
Wow! Gotta try this
Yes! 🙌 Yes you'll have to let me know what you think! They're pretty darn tasty 😋
These look very good omggg! 🤤
Hehe my thoughts exactly 🤤 definitely one of my favourites!!
That looks really good!
Hehe thank you. I can’t get enough peppermint this time of year 🥰
@@TastyThriftyTimely I added peppermint extract to my home made hot chocolate this week. I found out that a little goes a long way.
haha yes! I've been there lol! You definitely don't need very much. Some early iterations of these patties were pretty potent lol!
♥️🧡💜💚❤️🖤💙🧡💛
The thing I missed most when I went Plant based was the traditional holiday meals of the past! Took me forever to get some recipes I liked to replace them. I am always looking to learn new ways/recipes to add to our holida and everyday meals. This is a great recipe. I make cooking videos too. I’m always looking for new ideas and this one is a keeper! I love to learn from other you tubers as we grow our channels! Excellent Video! Thank you for sharing! 👍🏻 🥦🥑🥕🫑
Thanks for checking it out!! Peppermint Patties are one of my all time favourites!! ❤️
where is the aftermath video regarding the bark!!!how did it turn out?
love the channel, so glad i found it in the last week!
Haha I actually show how it turned out in the next video we shot which was the “beet Wellington”! I’m glad you wanted to see the end of the bark story haha 😂 thank you so much for watching and I’m so glad you’re loving the channel 🥰
Oooh, I will have to try this! One question though: do you use unsweetened shredded coconuts?
Good catch! I’ll add that detail into the recipe card on the blog. I do use unsweetened. You can absolutely use sweetened, the final patties will just be sweeter. Thanks again for that detail!
Can i use peppermint oil
From what I can gather peppermint oil is about 4 times more potent than peppermint extract which is diluted with alcohol so as long as it’s food safe it seems like you can use it and just start with less 👍🏼
I don’t have syrup ??? Can I use honey 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Yes honey should work! It might change the flavour a little bit but should work just the same. Traditionally peppermint patties are made with icing sugar (or powdered sugar) so a bit of that will work too 👍🏼
@@TastyThriftyTimely I just made with honey ! It’s coming together let’s see lol
@@alittleheavenonearth oh good I hope you like them!!
