Worked on the St Fergus too Mossmorran pipeline 1980s am sure the used floating barges to cross the Tay and Earn rivers in Scotland because there was no way you were blocking any Salmon rivers. I never seen that cause I was forth ahead .
First detach the belt from the hook of pipe layer. Then pull the belt to one side. Since the soil below the pipe is loose, no issues when removing the belt. After dewatering, welding of the next pipe section can continue.
Now that was so perfect. Very nicely produced.thank you for the share
Thanks

I wish we had equipment like that back in the 1960s.We ran 16 inch gas lines with one 944cat loader with a sideboom.
What was that like who’s welding that tie in
We used concrete collars bolted on pipe to keep in trench in river
Tüm emeği geçen herkesin eklerine sağlık orda çok güzel bir çalışma oldu
siz da orda calisiyormusunuz?
Salam sizde orda çalışdızmı
What's the next? How to remove the belt? How to do the welding for the remaining?

And the floaties on top were needed for what?
to fill with concrete so it does'nt float
