I hope you all enjoy seeing how I use paper scraps to decorate my journal pages! It was so much fun to film and share another process in this journal, wishing all of you a lovely weekend!!
As you wrote the letter to bubbles I cried a bit. It was so heartwarming. I have found a little dead birdie in our garden yesterday. Dad and I buried him. And you inspired me to write a little letter for this little soul to to commemorate him in my journal ❤️
Oh my, this may be one of the most beautiful journal spreads ever. So inspiring. I'm going to write a letter to my dog Benji. It's been 20 years and I still miss him.
Writing about your loved ones is the best way to celebrate their life and the way you presented it by using Spring as another beginning of the circle of life is beautiful. Thank you! Now I’m going to watch the Spanish version. 😊
Poor Bubbles, I love the idea of you writing a letter for your furry friend. It made me remember my own furry children, writing to them all would probably result in an encyclopedia! Beautiful journal pages you created, thanks for sharing!👏👍🐹
You always manage to take the ordinary and transform it into the extraordinary. I loved every minute of this video. You especially touched my heart when you spoke of your recent loss of your pet Bubbles. We recently experienced the sudden loss of my son's dog Stitch. You never quite get over the loss of a beloved pet. I will indeed be writing about our dear Stitch in my journal. Thank you for your continued inspiration and for sharing your amazing talent with us.
I had to stop immediately when I heard about Bubbles. We had to put down our puppy dog in February. I am 58. This was the first dog I EVER fell in love with! Sadie turned me into a dog lover! I had to take her to the vet by myself. My husband is going thru several life threatening illness at once and was not emotionally or physically able to go with me. I held her and loved her to the very end. And cried and cried and cried. My face was swollen for 2-3 days! I didn't even know a person could cry that hard. So, she was not JUST a hamster, dear, she was loved. That makes all the difference in the world.
So sorry about the loss of your beloved Sadie. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. I am just a few months younger than you. And I had to have my dog put down New Year's Eve just a few months ago. I drove him alone also. I also wrapped my arms around him on the table as they did it. That was the first time I've ever experienced anything like it. And it is still killing me. I'm so glad I watched this video. Because reading people's comments has really helped me realize that I'm not the only one that has gone through this and that there is nothing wrong with what I did. The guilt has been consuming me. And I have this huge gaping hole in my heart from losing my little Peanut. I don't think I have ever encountered such kind, caring and compassionate people as I have on this channel. God bless you. The love of an animal is beyond precious. The pain from the loss of them is horrible, but I would never have traded those 15 + years with him for anything.
Sandra Capps Dear Sandra, believe me sweetheart anyone who has loved, adored, and cared for a furry baby knows how they truly become a strong member of the family and when they pass it hits home like a bag of rocks on your back, especially if you are feeling guilt. Crying until your face is swollen is simply a part of life when your heart is hurting, we have all been there! Know that your sweet baby lived the most amazing life while in your care, and you were fortunate enough to be there with him when he was crossing the rainbow bridge - no one can take the moment and bond away from you or your heart. ❤️
Donna Hazlett My sweet Donna, no you are not alone, those who have had similar experiences completely understand and are here for you! My channel is a place of growth, healing, and kindness and your little Peanut will be remembered forever! I will journal about him in my book as a memoir to you and your beloved furry baby, there’s no need to feel guilt - you gave him ultimate peace while many dogs are not as fortunate and are suffering as we speak 😢 Peanut was loved and continues to be loved!! Sending a huge warm hug to you my dear friend!
Ah I'm always in awe about how you use your vintage scraps in your journals! So beautiful! Those colors of spring you chose are just stunning! I'm so glad spring is finally here; it feels so refreshing. Thank you for sharing my little kit and stickers. I loved seeing how you used a few pieces in your journal! And yes, I made sure that all the packaging can be reused in your journal, so I love that you used it! I'm sad to hear about your loss. I had hamsters growing up and I so know the feeling when one passes away and everyone is like "oh but it was just hamster." It totally wasn't just a hamster! Those little beauties were my little furry friends. Bubbles was such cutie, may he sleep in peace. This video was so sweet and calming. Thanks for sharing it! 💕
Wow, this was so moving and therapeutic! I am so sorry about Bubbles. What a wonderful tribute. And I love how you describe writing as word tattoos. Perfect.
This is one of my favorite videos of yours. More to the point and more ideas on decorating and journal related. Sharing more of you and your heart. I truly enjoyed the video in its entirety.
Abbie Juett thank you so much for your amazing feedback Abbie! It makes me so happy knowing you enjoyed the video, these are always my favorite to create because I get to share more of myself and how I journal with you all :)
I'm sorry for your loss, Nazy. Even dwarf hamsters have large spirits which can touch our hearts and souls. These little beings who come into our lives are never really "just a"- they are so much more to those of us open enough to connect with them. Thanks for sharing such a lovely springtime spread, especially since we are still blanketed with snow up here!
The Quiet Midden They truly are, it’s incredible that we can connect with animals on such a deep level and that they impact our life in so many ways - thank you so much for your words, without fail your messages always touch my heart and leave me feeling at peace ❤️ sending warmth from Georgia my sweet friend!
